Hi buddy, i've followed all your instructions and put the car into neutral, removed all bolts. My mechatronic is not budging at all, it is almost like it's welded onto the gearbox - i've tried pulling it very hard, do you have any recommendation of what to do in this case?

I have been looking for a recent video regarding mechatronics unit my polo 6 r line won't crank at all when starting i removed the starter and tested is the starter works perfectly tried to jump start it still didn't crank but the's this little sound that comes from the mechatronics unit when i turn the key to start it, the's no errors in the car nothing on the dash it just wouldn't start pleeeeease help me if you can Sir what might it be

Bro after reinstalling do you have to calibrate any thing or will it work straight away? I did same thing removed and clean and put it back and started the car it goes in gear PRND but doesn't move at all. Before it was driving only in D2 . That was the fault on it. Do i need to calibrate or not?

If it's only driving in D2 check Reverse also if the reverse works and drives only in D2 than chances are you have a bad clutch and not a bad Mech. Unit

Even without desconneting the coolant pipe, you can still gently remove the mechatronic.

My VW Polo fuse to the Mechatronic Control Module (TCM) is blown and keeps blowing due to a short to ground, this is creating fault code U0101 - Lost communication with TCM. I guess I need to remove the Mechatronic cable connector to determine whether the short to ground is in the TCM unit or is in the wiring up to the TCM unit. Any further advice? Thanks for sharing the video!

It's either 2 things 1st just set the volt meter to continuity and insert one of the probs into the couplers positive with ignition off and other prob to the battery negative (not on the body) If it beeps that the problem is on the car not the mechatronic 2nd if the above doesn't work than most probably you have a bad tcm plate

Is that clutchpack OEM or aftermarket? I am about to change mine and was wondering if it is worth trying the cheaper aftermarket.

I prefer you go for the one which is from the manufacturers eg. LUK manufacturers for VW for India and its a good 300$ difference between Luk and The part from the dealership, if your going to get a aftermarket makesure they have the same clutch material and also provide you with the shims that are needed to set the tolerance
