  I haven’t driven either car in stock form but I have driven them modified. The ZR1 was 750whp and the Z06 had not been dyno’d or tuned when I drove it. The ZR1 was well taken care of vs the Z06 chassis was kind of trashed although the engine was healthy. ZR1 was an absolute monster and the Z06 was also damn strong. I can’t imagine if someone had the money why they would not buy the ZR1 but “settling” for a Z06 is hardly purgatory.

  Do all radars have to be mounted up top? Is it illegal to have it hidden below by the cup holders area?

  It depends on state. Some states radar detectors are illegal. But in states that it is legal you can have it where ever. The only thing is if you have it down there it would not detect as well as if it was mounted in the windshield. Hope that helps

  Coming back to this video a year later.. If anybody is getting one of these as a first car, please be very careful. They are much more powerful and faster than they seem. 600hp to the rear wheels will bite you fast.

  2 things. The LS2 is a 6.0 and a stock C6Z is not 450 to 470 wheel. Lol. Most I’ve seen in mid 440s
