Hey Cayleb. I’ve never watched your content before and it is absolutely crazy that I found this video at the time I did. My name is Cameron and I have a couple KZread channels ( a podcast channel and a gaming channel). I found your channel by searching “how much small KZread car channels make” because I am thinking about creating a car centered KZread channel in the next couple months. I watched your video on the topic that you made maybe a year or so ago and then just checked out your channel. I really resonated with the things you said in this video. I appreciate the honesty. I am in a similar boat, I’m 21, dropped out of college, about to move out of my parents house in a couple months. Currently doing a multitude of different things to earn income. Just felt like commenting to let you know that this video was dope and that I’d be interested in talking sometime. I feel like we have similar mindsets although you might hate me because I’m somewhat of a huge electric car enthusiast 😂. Don’t worry I still love gas cars. Also found it super coincidental that we both are from Detroit, Michigan. Like I said it’s just crazy I randomly found this video and we have so much in common. Anyways, I dropped you a sub and I wish you the best on your journey. With your mindset of self improvement, I’m sure you’ll find a way. I don’t say that because I think it‘ll be easy, but I say it cause I know you won’t give up. Best of luck 👍🏽

Hi Cam, it’s nice to meet you. I appreciate you checking out the channel and I hope that it brought you value. I’m glad to hear a lot of things in this video sat with you. I’ve been thinking about creating this kind of content moving forward potentially, but as of now nothing is in stone. I’m kinda in that boat now with doing many things for income, trying to figure out my high income skill. I would love to talk, share ideas, and just meet people with a similar mindset. The best way to contact me is probably instagram, there’s a link on my main channel page or in the description of most videos. I’m always up for a chat about this stuff. I like what you said at the end. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. We will become the type of person that we need to in order to achiever our desired outcome. Best.

Pretty powerful insight for your age. You are pretty hard on yourself and that is great, just don't push to hard or you might fall. Keep chasing the dream!

Hey Caleb! I appreciate you putting out a video like this! I can relate on a lot of things: I'm 24, in finance and not very happy about the corporate career prospects, don't have a lot of close friends or relationships, and frankly find them to be pretty taxing at times as I'm more of an introvert (working on that recently, getting a bit better). I also looked at making my hobby of computers/electronics hardware into a job, but found that I didn't enjoy it nearly as much and it pushed me away from the industry as a whole for a few years. I'm afraid getting into cars as a career may have the same effect, though I haven't tried that yet. I wish you luck on the self improvement journey, now is probably the best time to focus on yourself before you have a family or other commitments. Whether you find success on KZread or in other ventures, I hope you take your time and enjoy the journey. I've found that money doesn't really make me very happy in the last couple years, but it certainly allows certain things like travel and my hobbies of cars/tech/skiing. At the end of the day, I think it's important to be passionate about whatever you do, or you'll get bored even if you have the means to do whatever you like. If you ever want to talk, hit me up in DMs! I'm currently in MA, so not particularly local, but maybe we'll meet up someday. I have yet to visit Michigan.. - Rob P.S. I also have a C6 Z06, which is how I found your channel. I haven't really decided on what I want to do with the car as I've only had it for about a year, but I might take some inspiration from your build!

Rob, your story is an inspiration. It’s tough out here for us young men. Everyone wants to paint us as the bad guy, social media skews our minds, and life can be difficult to understand. We must stick together, rise up, and figure out a way to get through this. We owe ourselves that much. I wish you nothing but success and fulfillment Much love

I also want to take this time to plan my next moves and get myself in a better position to succeed. I shot you a text. Let’s meet up soon!

Congratulations bro. honestly. being brutally honest with other people and more importantly yourself is definitely tough. I'm in a very similar mindset right now and I think its one of the most crucial stages of our lives. feeling lost is an opportunity. Aside from that, youtube may be a good outlet to discuss these things or potentially video log steps moving forward to inspire others if that's one thing you're searching for. just watching this video made me remember I need to keep pressing on to better things not getting trapped in the toxic endless 9-5. I personally would love to watch videos of you just talking about things you've learned and maybe a new approach you're taking at a particular goal. even if those videos are just once a month. I wish you all the luck my friend.

Hey Kolton, what you said really means a lot to me. I feel like it’s very easy to get stuck in the matrix. Very easy to get stuck in the rat race for good. And that’s the direction I can see my life going. I just don’t want that. I’m not inspired spending the large majority of my time working to build my employers dreams. I want to get out and live a life that I’m proud of, but I just need some time to figure out how. You are fully correct. The 9-5 is toxic and endless. Some people really do enjoy it, but not me. It means a lot that you would be here for some different type of content. I’ve got a few ideas but I wanna let those stew for a while so I can think over them and make sure I’m making the best choices. I believe in you Kolton. Work hard, work smart, and create a life your future self will thank you for. Best

Hey Cayleb. I've sat back and casually watched your videos for what seems like a year or 2 now. Always enjoyed your videos, I think you do great in front of the camera and are charismatic. I can offer some insight. After watching this, I think it's abundantly clear that you went down a path expecting a certain outcome and are disappointed with the current result. I will also say that for being 23 you are exceptionally aware and focused on what you want in life. If I made this video at 23 I would have most likely said I looked forward to finishing college and getting into a career and that's about it. So for you to be articulating yourself like this now tells me you are onto something regardless of you thinking you've failed thus far. You are very young and have all the time in the world to figure "it" out. You need to do what you are passionate about, can't put it any way else. But hopefully what you are passionate about also leads you to passive income. I'm 34 now, but I got into city planning after college at 24 and can't say that it's ever really felt like a "job" that I feel miserable at or hate. Ten years later I still love the field and enjoy it every day and I finally make that kind of money that helps you feel at ease and can buy the things you want in your life. And because I'm so passionate about it I keep advancing, and keep making more money every year which gives me even more drive to keep working harder at it and to get to that place you talk about. A city runs like a business and I'm aiming for vp of that business and I'm about 3/4 of the way there. Every day I wake up and ask myself how can I improve from the day before and show my worth. I will say that no matter what comes next for you, it is hard work. This whole economy is built on who puts in the most work, has the most intelligence, knowledge, strategy, heart, desire, and motivation. Your passion will tell you where you go from here, and the money will come with it as long as you put in the work to make it happen. And I have a feeling that it won't take you as long as I did. I didn't start having those types of thoughts that you have until my late 20s.

I really appreciate your wisdom and words of advice. I take inspiration from other peoples journey and drive. I am not afraid of hard work, I love it. But I think it’s time I take a step back and figure out what exactly I’m working for, and if I have been going about my success the right way. In life, we reach a point where we have to decide to either double down, or pivot. I think it’s time for me to pivot. I need to take some time to think about my life, and set myself up in a better position to succeed. I need to figure out what advantages or disadvantages I might have. What am I good at, bad at, and how can I leverage those skills most effectively. It’s time to start making smarter choices and doing things that really inspire me. I wish you an abundance of success in your career and life. Thank you :)
