A few months ago i started saving for a C5 until my love for the C6 hit me. I’ve heard the C6 pays homage to the C2 and then it hit me. The exterior lines of the C6 are a direct reflection to the C2. I’ll be ready next September with at least a $5k deposit on a 2008-09 C6 Base coupe manual non Z51. Maybe if the prices drop even further I’ll look at a 2008 Z06 manual. I’ve researched the C6 and have a list of things to look for, #1 issue a wobbling harmonic balancer which tends to happen about the 80k mile mark. I’ll be cherry picking a clean hopefully one or two owner UNmodified C6. hopefully as bone stock as can be, low mileage with records. I joined the Corvette Forum last week so I may find one on there next year. A clean low mileage 08 Z06 now is going north of $35k. And a clean low mileage base 08 coupe is about 28-30k. I’m hoping these drop even further this time next year!

I’m about to get a 2015 One owner Z51 Stingray with the 3LT interior, loaded, only 6,300 miles on it for 50k. I think that’s pretty good for a car that retailed for over 70k. 6,300 miles is basically brand new condition. The price was originally $55,900, but once it dropped down to 50k I just had to jump on it. I’m putting down 25,000 and financing the rest for 4.19% APR. The prices on the C6 & C7 Vettes is coming down. The C8 is a different story. Good luck finding one for less than 10,000 over MSRP. Even the most base models with like 30,000+ miles on them is still high 70s lows 80s minimum.

Hi everyone! What do you guys think about the car market?

I wanted the new civic Si because it’s manual and would be a great daily driver while fixing my credit. I would have put 10k down. My local dealer wanted 37k for the mf. That’s literally 10k over the msrp just for no reason. The cars not even a type R lol. It’s sickening.
