Johnny Strides, your videos of life in Toronto will be seen 100 years from now. I wonder what future generations will think of this era.😊

There’s a part of an amazing place in Flemington Park (or how I like to said it, Ward 26 Don Valley South) is gone… I haven’t gone there since 2014 or 2015, but I remember it was huge

23:31. That No Frills used to be Dominion and had a fotomart booth in its parking lot. The new brown building used to be Darrigo’s Italian grocery store. The crane construction at 24:15 used to be a Kentucky Fried Chicken and had a large kfc bucket. This was of course late 1970s and early 1980s when I lived near there.

When I lived at York Mills and VP I used to walk here all the time. That groundhog was one of many different animals I have seen in the area - notably foxes and raccoons. Continuing on to the big trestle south of Eglinton is cool too.

You got that right, you look like who knows directions :D This is probably one of my favorite video in the past few weeks. After so many downtown videos a nature walk is really refreshing, so funny to hear you "whine" about the bugs :D

When you are approaching pedestrian traffic with their back to you it's on YOU to make sure there is no collision. Ride far enough away so that any sudden movements by them you are clear from collision. Use bell too.

"ONTARIO, OPEN FOR BUSINESS" what that sign really was saying was "ONTARIO, FOR SALE". Oh, the Dean French patronage scandal wasn't a big enough red flag. Now we've got condo villages in Markham, McMansions in Stouffville, and a highway to nowhere, running across farmland west of the airport. Drug Fraud really has great plans for Ontario's assets.

My old stomping ground Sunnybrook stables. You would find me by the barns checking out the horses or walking along the horse paths or even riding my bike. Enjoying a horse show. Few years ago one barn burnt down due to fireworks and horses were lost and now there is a indoor riding arena. The police horses were also there in another barn. One time going down the embankment I was trying to stop myself and grabbed onto a tree. It was furry. I had grabbed a raccoon. OMG I'm so lucky it didn't bite me. Thanks Johnny
