    Outstanding right fielder who did not hit his stride at the plate until some time after Bernie Carbo was traded during the 1978 season. Had Evans come into his own a year or two earlier, I believe his HOF case would be clear.

    My 1st game as well. My brother and I missed the Keith Morland home run in a concession line. In retrospect it was nice to Andre Dawson's homer the previous inning. "The Immaculate Deflection!"
