Wow! The Chicago Cubs have won the 2016 World Series? Is that real? Well, they beat Corey Kluber and the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 to have their first World Series title since 1908. Dexter Fowler led off with a home run, Kris Bryant's hustle got two runs, David Ross and Javier Baez hit home runs, and Kyle Hendricks was masterful. Things could have changed when both Carlos Santana and Jason Kipnis scored on a Jon Lester wild pitch, but David Ross hit a solo shot the next inning to give the Cubbies a three-run lead. Joe Maddon has done it, and the city of Chicago will be celebrating for a while with this one! The Cleveland Indians were amazing all season, and Terry Francona, Jason Kipnis, Francisco Lindor, and especially Corey Kluber have nothing to be upset about! Tom Ricketts and the Chicago Cubs have to get Steve Bartman out of hiding and put him on one of the floats during the victory parade in downtown Chicago! It must happen after the way that guy was treated so poorly by Chicago! It has to happen so they need to get Steve Bartman out of seclusion for this because he really deserves it to be a part of the celebration! Amazingly, Jone Lester pitched deep into the 8th inning, and Joe Maddon went right back to Aroldis Chapman who looked worn out and gave up the game-tying home run to Rajai Davis. After a short rain delay, it was Ben Zobrist playing the hero with a double in the 10th inning to give the Cubs the lead once again 7-6. This game was enough to give Indians fans and Cubs fans a heart attack, and I am sorry that the baseball season is over. This Game 7 will go down in history! I really hope that Steve Bartman is on a float with Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Dexter Fowler, Jon Lester, Jake Arrieta, Javier Baez, Ben Zobrist, Kyle Schwarber, etc. because he deserves to be in that parade! I guess the roof is going to cave in at Murphy's and where is Harry Caray when you need him? Mike Montgomery closed it out in the 10th inning. 8-7 was the final!
