Holy cow man! You went through the trouble PUT THE NEW PADS IN!
I just took possession of my fathers 90's rigid fork mountain bike, it's in alright condition but has not been ridden in about 30 years so is going need a complete rebuild, I intend on using your videos as a guide!
Is that toothpaste
My rear brake is leaking the brake fluid , just changed the pads and in 8km they were oily again together with brake disc , i disassembled the rear brake and now i m searching for instruction how to overhaul it so it doesnt leak
On 3:26-3:27 you have turned the pad without comment! Without noticing it assembly can go very wrong!
Интересно, не знал что бывают картриджные каретки на насыпных подшипниках, думал что у шимано они все на промах, так же как у Neco, VP и других производителей.
Really nice job dude.
Nice idea 👌 What specific shimano crank model did you use is this video? Thanks
Thankyou for teaching the world how to fix things. You're a good man.
What you need to do with this type of videos that, show how much fork was moving while rusty and how much after cleaning.
I have a similar shimano freewheel and the hub is very stuck, where I can get that tweezer like tool and the socket to do the job? Thanks.
the only thing I see on the freewheel is Suntour - Japan and it is a 7 speed. The bicycle is very old and been sitting inside the garage for about 10 years and I been riding it for the past 4-5 years.
Dzięki.Pomocny film

Cleaning FAKE! rust tutorial. Do you know what rust is ?!?
xdd
😮😮😮 this idea is absolutely fascinating. I am most definitely going to try it😊. To my knowledge, it's only available here in South Africa, but after completing the project, I'm going to cover it with ALCOLIN SILICONE TAPE to make sure that the inner tube doesn't move around. Thanks a lot for your information. This is going to be fantastic👍.
Enjoy! Its working great 👍
I prefer to buy new and use my time for more enjoyable activities. Those stems are really inexpensive.
o right
is this a road bike freehub or mtb or the same ?
Lol
:)
My fork doesn't have those two bolts at the bottom please help me
If its cheap fork, probably its not demountable
Zbyt lepki smar. Niepotrzebnie.
masz racje, lepiej użyć go troche mniej dałem go wiecej z uwagi na wiek wolnobiegu, mimo to wszystko działało poprawnie
What's the red stuff that you use on the threads?
bro, its just grease to prefent from rust and stuck
I did this but the shifter doesn’t work. Can’t change gear at all.
It works, got it on the first hit
yep
Estou seguindo #brazil
thanks a lot, best regards from Poland
good good good ❤❤❤
:D
Thanks for the video. I needed to verify that I am turning counter clockwise to loosen that bolt. and it wont come off. I removed the freehub casing, bearings, etc but the main part is still in there where the pawls ride or attached too. I have it in Blaster penetrating oil and will give it a shot tomorrow again. I am using 11mm for this one. There is about maybe 1/16 movement left and right when I try to remove it. Any ideas? Maybe I just need to buy a new wheel and move on on this project. I dont know if I can get a pipe wrench and grab that main part and try to loosen that way. I believe the freehub is geared to match the hub to lock in place (for no slipage) and that bolt holds it in place to the hub - so I am thinking that will not work: the bolt has to come out if I got that right.
Was that 120 mm track wheelset made wider for 127mm dropout or made to order part.
this is 135mm wide wheel set, for standard bikes 28” with single speed freewheel 😀

Aluminum foil over steel wool.
sensitive steel wool its great for rust on chrome parts, i need to try with alu foil :P
Thank you for the video. Just a constructive criticism instead of annoying music. It would have been nice to hear someone describe what they're doing

thank you good job
thank you :) regards
"3de printer kay" 🙏
my friend maked it for me - 0$ and fully usable tool
@@lonerbikesVery cool
"dirty 😔"
dyrty
The wox is important.
Caution: Some RevoShift shifters have small very recessed screws holding the plastic housing together so you can't pry it off with a flat head, as this video shows.
exactly, some shifter
DO NOT USE A RAZOR BLADE THAT HAS BREAKABLE SECTIONS OR A RAZOR BLADE AT ALL ...I DID IT WITH A FINGERNAIL OR SMALL FLATBLADE
you have right
I just finished servicing my 40 plus year old Schwinn Montague. There is something special about saving an old bicycle and making perform like new again. Much better than throwing it away....
It's satisfying to see that your work has produced a nice result
Zoom produces cheap steel garbage. There should be at least rubber covers on fork. I had to use so much force that fork bent, after a lot of beating and it freed up. Can I still bend back fork legs?
hmm... its cheap fork :D
10 Sekunden, schwer angegeben 😂 !
Myslím že to bola zbytočná robota lebo v tých miestach kde si to obrusoval sa stenší vrstva kovu a tým pádom bude mať vidlica v tých miestach vôlu.
tak, ale wielu widzom się to przyda :)
Thanks for the video!
enjoy :)
Does somebody know, what size steel balls are used in the MF Z012 freehub? And How many on Top and Bottom (as asked in another commend already) Thanks PS: Thanks for the nice and very usefull video :)
enjoy !
Bicycle noob here. Just trying to take that crank model off ( and support too ). After taking the plastic caps off, I dont have a hex there, but a T40 torx hole inside of a 15mm nut. Tried to whallop it counter clockwise with a T40 and a small hammer, but it wont budge. Bike is new, so I dont want to brake anything. Any tips? Do I need a special tool for it?
Always put the shifter first. Then the brake lever.
okay :P
perhaps use captions instead of talking with that heavy nats accent.
still im trying to improve my english :/
It seems the dust caps on top of the bolts were not put on. Am I wrong?
yes because we have here allen key screw and they have rubber gasket, its no possibility to montage also plastic dust caps here
whats the white thing? il the red is grease but whats the white
On my bike, the gears shift down, but I can't shift up (on the rear wheel). Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
Great job !
