Интересно, не знал что бывают картриджные каретки на насыпных подшипниках, думал что у шимано они все на промах, так же как у Neco, VP и других производителей.

the only thing I see on the freewheel is Suntour - Japan and it is a 7 speed. The bicycle is very old and been sitting inside the garage for about 10 years and I been riding it for the past 4-5 years.

😮😮😮 this idea is absolutely fascinating. I am most definitely going to try it😊. To my knowledge, it's only available here in South Africa, but after completing the project, I'm going to cover it with ALCOLIN SILICONE TAPE to make sure that the inner tube doesn't move around. Thanks a lot for your information. This is going to be fantastic👍.

Thanks for the video. I needed to verify that I am turning counter clockwise to loosen that bolt. and it wont come off. I removed the freehub casing, bearings, etc but the main part is still in there where the pawls ride or attached too. I have it in Blaster penetrating oil and will give it a shot tomorrow again. I am using 11mm for this one. There is about maybe 1/16 movement left and right when I try to remove it. Any ideas? Maybe I just need to buy a new wheel and move on on this project. I dont know if I can get a pipe wrench and grab that main part and try to loosen that way. I believe the freehub is geared to match the hub to lock in place (for no slipage) and that bolt holds it in place to the hub - so I am thinking that will not work: the bolt has to come out if I got that right.

Bicycle noob here. Just trying to take that crank model off ( and support too ). After taking the plastic caps off, I dont have a hex there, but a T40 torx hole inside of a 15mm nut. Tried to whallop it counter clockwise with a T40 and a small hammer, but it wont budge. Bike is new, so I dont want to brake anything. Any tips? Do I need a special tool for it?
