  for gamers that only care about 1080p 60fps the 4060 is insane value now tdp is only 115w thats crazy i am now still burning vega 56 at 220+w at way lower fps fps gap would be even more insane with frame generation

  4060 is probably the best card for budget gamer its low in price, tdp is insanely efficient, it can play ALL games 60fps and it even have a magic frame generation tech it completely outperform its predecessor and competitors at the price

  @JegsTV totally agree on the 7600, but that thing is quite fast, and the 7900 gre seems to love it in 4k. Wouldn't go anything higher than a 7900GRE/4070 super with it, though.

  For anyone randomly coming here after the fact wondering why Baldur's Gate 3 has framepacing issues on their AMD card, I'm here to let you know that if you turn on antilag in the drivers for the game, it fixes it with zero downsides (in fact, you actually have slightly less input latency, hooray). Dunno why. This is also the case for the updated Witcher 3.

  is your choice strictly between the two? if not i would suggest considering the rx 6700 xt. cheaper between your two choices, decent vram, and similar performance.

  When u consider the powerdraw and the heat that comes with it, the 6800 is such a good card! The rtx 3080 needs 120w more and is probably alot hotter because of it (58C vs 77C in God of War QHD). If u dont care about raytracing, definetly go for the rx 6800 or the xt, they also have more vram!
