120W less not 100W. 7900GRE is 2% faster in AVG and offer more vram and faster brandwith and cost same but use 120W more, 7900GRE looks like stock or undervolted, does not perform like my 6950xt.

@@zoroastris8155 honestly I would not get 4070s even if it was asus strix vs any 7900gre. 4070s way slower and have less vram is not for me who allready suffered by my old rtx 3070 with 8gb vram. I will be more carefull when buying GPU, and thats why I got 6950xt same price of 4070 at 2023-september.

as a warzone player the 7900 gre looks very appealing but the power draw is a huge turn off for me :/

you will not see this power draw in warzone, unless you have high end CPU (and also with that you won't see this max power draw). Warzone is not gpu heavy title. For example my 6800 XT draws about 150W at 100% usage in Warzone when in TimeSpy or other GPU demanding games Im getting 230-250W with full GPU utilization.

as far is i know the 7900 GRE is at a fixed fps 80 / 90 / 120 more efficient than the 4070 SUper

I don't know if this is a stupid question but, I have a 1080p monitor and saw your video pairing an i5 12400f with an RX 7900 GRE. You mentioned that at 1440p, there's almost no bottleneck except in CPU-intensive games. If I play GPU-heavy games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p on my 1080p monitor (using VSR or similar), will there still be a bottleneck? Thanks!

Im assuming you also use i5 12400f and a 7900gre? If yes, then there will be no bottleneck on cyberpunk 1440p.

Would it be better to pair it with an 12600kf? Cost $150 rn and the 12400f is on sale for $109

Could you please test Ryzen 5 3600 (non-x) overclocked, and Rx 7900 gre overclocked? I'm looking to buy this card and I'm curious exactly what the performance will be with this CPU while it's overclocked. Thanks 🙏🏻

Sooooo, how much of a price advantage will GRE be in overclocking, since its consumption is always 100-150+ watts? Does anyone know how to calculate? Of course, that consumption is only during the playing of more demanding titles for a certain number of hours per day, but I assume that it is felt on an annual basis. Not to mention, at the beginning, the need for a quality PSU with a minimum of 600 watts if it is a budget CPU in the computer.

in russia that extra 100w would cost me 6.9 dollars (8.1 considering PPP rus/usa) if I played 4h/day Also 750w psu which might serve u for decades costs u that freaking same 100$ price diff!

You need a better cpu for the 4070 S to benchmark...

@@Fragtastec no 5090 is. 4090 is about to become yesterday's news. Most people don't need any of that though. Most people could have a 4060 and be happy lol. That's just the truth. The top played games don't even have really good graphics.

On 1440p almost no bottleneck. Except on IPC intensive games like CS, Valorant, Dota. Go play on 1080p and see that gpu usage nose dive

I have been saying this forever but its more on devs to optimize their games more. Last of us remaster is a PS4 GAME like wtf that game runs like ass on top of the line hardware. meanwhile Horizon Zero Dawn FW runs so fukn good on any hardware. Im running 4070 super with dlss and frame gen and I literally cant tell the difference between native 2k and dlss/fg 2k unless i go nitpicking and looking for it. to each their own but I chose the 4070 super because of the lower power draw. Gpu that uses more power will make me upgrade my PSU also for another 100 bucks (usa). older games like the tomb raider remakes do a really good job running on newer hardware. but most ubisoft games suck. it depends on the game, engine, and the amount of time devs spend to optimize their game

I was concerned bout power draw but now i realise 100 watts isn't gonna add much as my electricity bill is already so high 100 watts is gonna add like 1-2 percent to the bill

Its to close it's just to worth getting the 4070 super for the extra abilities and tech. I've been using dlss more and more lately also. I absolutely love it set to balanced or quality it's perfection when at 1400p ultra or 4k high. The craziest part is now you can see in the games the differences on how they handle lighting and shadows rvery game side by aide nvidia has more shadows it seems and it's noticeable and adds a very nice effect. Pause at 5:30 you will see to the right nvidia is showing the shadow to the left amd is not! His entire shadow is missing. Peolle say nvidia cuts corners for performance when it really looks like amd is.

Pretty much a slaughter fest. Cements the 7900gre as best value gpu of this gen. Amd missed the boat releasing this so late.

4070 Super is way better, they are same price in my country and 4070 Super is consumes less power and has DLSS and ray tracing

​@@iequalsnoob Super gets beat in most games, especially in more popular titles. Cyberpunk, Alan wake, cod, rdr, starfield ect. Also better/smoother experience at higher resolution. No need for heavy upscaling or to reduce graphics, and freedom to enable FG without worrying about vram. Xess 1.3 does a great job, so dlss really is not that significant. Super has good power consumption, that's about it. RT both have to render below 1080p, so who cares.
