What is your complete system power usage with the RX 7900 GRE in games like Alan Wake 2 (the most demanding one)?

Do you know if there has been a significant change in FPS on Diablo 4? I have been watching your 4070 Ti S videos and I noticed that on this run you averaged close to 80 FPS with the 12400F and 4070 Ti S combination, but on a video from about three months ago you achieved closer to 100 FPS with this combination at 4K Ultra settings. For what it is worth I am averaging around 90 FPS in that Kyovashad area at native 4K Ultra no RT with a 4070 Ti S.

Every season the game runs worst from what im noticing. A lot of players are also complaining about this season specifically. I’ll get back to you after comparing my data. Currently not in front of my pc

Thank you for using a13400f, I also own one and I want to know the limit with specific graphic cards. Playing 2k is no real bottleneck with most of all games, unless you need extreme refresh rates.

So the bottleneck for 1440p isn’t that bad with the gre correct I’m very new to checking bottlenecks as this is the first time I’m upgrading my pc

In Canada there is a $350 difference between these cards. That is crazy. Think I might wait to see what AMD RDNA4 has to offer, could be similar to 7900 GRE but better efficiency and much less money.

7900 GRE costs in EU around 550/590€. Dont think RDNA 4 around its performance its gonna be "much less money". Lets guess best case scenario 550/600€ for the same or a bit better raster and much better RT. So no. No much less money.

There will always be a bottleneck somewhere. But those pairings are good for high refresh rate 1080p gaming and decent 1440p gaming.

Best mid-range budget build for 1440p and esports. Better than RX7700 and please if you could add more $$$ then opt for the ryzen 7 7700 instead of ryzen 5 7600 , it'll add great performance and fps

True. The extra cores of the 7700x would only give you marginal increase in fps. What you would want to look at for a better performance would be faster IPC of the CPU.

At 1080p yes. 99% of people is not spending this much for 1080p gaming. 1440p and 4k there is no bottleneck.

Test with 13600k would've been better. In some games, specially in FHD you might get bottlenecked with such strong GPU's by 12400f, even overclocked by BCLK and DDR5 6400 C32 Hynix A-die / DDR4 3933 C14 Samsung B-die. It should be the same oc settings, I currently have the pure with same OC settings and it is fantastic. Though you should expect crash then change the voltage a little bit to fit the game

@@shimoi4093 yeah, like in cyberpunk i set the voltage to 980v then it crash during gameplay. Then I change to 990v and it performs well. For other settings beside the voltage is the same so you should expect the voltage is the main reason if you get crash. There is also one possible reason is the power consumption +15% if your PSU is too low, like below 650w so you would need to decrease it a bit

Replace with a 7600x and buy a 7900xt (spend 150 less on cpu spend 150 more on gpu), unless u play MMO/simulator type games

newer drivers, newer version of the game, margin of error. there can be alot of reasons. but in general the 7800x3d should be outperforming easily pretty much any cpu on cs2.

the 4070 ti super is without a question faster than the 7900gre even when the latter is overclocked. but youre missing the point here. a $550 GPU can almost reach the performance of a $799 GPU. which is insane value for people who only play on native raster.

They will be equal on low settings as both gpus are strong enough to cause a cpu bottle neck even for the 7800x3d in cs2. At high settings the 4070s will win out though at ~5% - 10%

Half the price ? Where are you from ? RTX 4060 S has the same price as rx7800xt in my country... So rtx 4070S is better if they got in same price ....

I had the 7900 xt, and 7900 GRE> sadly they both suffer form a well known issue in World of Warcraft. Random driver timeouts. there is no fix, it is a known issue widespread that happens. Due to this, I got the 4070 super instead. it OCd really well. No more issue period. Shame.

intel is bad processor for this tests...

12400 would not be fitting for these GPUs
