    ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STEALERSHIP. I bought brand new off the lot Ram 2500 Laramie, they would not follow my instruction on submitting my app to my credit union, they instead hit my credit file 6X with 6 different lenders for absolutely no reason, then refused to send the app to my credit union. Very shady business practice. They agreed to have pain scratches and a small dent on drivers door repaired within the next week, we took an unpaid workday off to facilitate the truck being at their dealership for the paint correction, I then found out the samples manager (Mark) told the body shop not to fix the dent and color sand out the bedside clear coat scuffs, when I called to get this approved for the body shop I was argued with by every person who got onto the phone. I HAD TO THREATEN TO UNWIND THE DEAL TO FET ANY RESPONSE THAT WAS NOT ARGUMENTATIVE! They then told me it would all be taken care of, and the dent is still on the drivers side door. In the finance office, I decided to buy the “LUX-CARE” paint and interior coating to protect the exterior and interior, and of course, the coating wasn’t applied professionally, the interior has extremely visible bald spots where the coating wasn’t applied vs where it was and one of the rear seats was missed altogether!! My front license plate AND bracket / hardware were removed for NO REASON, the person did not coat the bumper where the plate bracket goes, Ray Charles could see it hasn’t even been washed there, so why was the plate bracket and plate assembly even removed in the first place?! More importantly! Why wasn’t it reinstalled before the truck was “done” and ready for pickup!? It’s CA state law to have a plate on front and rear, so yeah nice job there Stoneridge employees. Best part is when the service representative tells me “they don’t install temporary plate on front of trucks” then I send several photos of the truck on the date of sale clearly showing the salesman installing the temp plate and another showing the entire plate. Every single person we have dealt with here, after the signing of paperwork of course, has been denying, argumentative, belittling and projecting in a way that’s ABSOLUTELY not acceptable in the industry they serve. Customer service escapes this place. They refused to fill the $85,000 truck with fuel on delivery, barely washed it, the DEF fluid was almost empty, didn’t explain how to use infotainment and the finance manager didn’t send us out with the deal paperwork we had to make another 1.5hr trip to get that. Completely garbage buying experience from this place and I’ve bought several vehicles from dealerships. Buyer beware. Don’t buy anything here this place SUCKS!

    On moderate wrecks, cars from the 50s, 70s many times are still driveable; while modern cars end up in a salvage yard. On high impact crashes, whether you're in an old or modern vehicle, you're screwed; massive destruction that not even an airbag will save your ass.

  • @WitchKing-Of-Angmar
    @WitchKing-Of-Angmar2 жыл бұрын

    Exactly. Thankfully they only ever show modern cars at 40 miles per hour with never letting people stress or have a reason to set themselves straight and drive like a mature human being, instead ending the clip with some bullshit statement such as "perfect safety". I'm sorry? It's 1 foot from the passenger level of destruction in the front, it's all crumple zone until it's the windshield and base that it is smashing into. No longer a soft crumple at that point when you hit any bit past 40. It is as my grandfather said and would say even more today...and it may sound like common sense which we had more of back then, however applies to how stupid people can be: "you aren't meant to find yourself and others in a crash, no matter the safety, it is not a event you are meant to go through and will be tragically dangerous no matter a cement roof or perfect solid frame... It is even more so foolish when you decide to put you and everyone in the automobile at risk driving like a maniac ready to set down 200 miles on a sandy stretch in Daytona".

  • @jollyroger2012
    @jollyroger20122 жыл бұрын

    lol i always love hearing people talk about how "old cars are safer in crashes". this is the same kind of nonsense as people saying 4x4's allow you to brake faster... one of the things i always hear, like you just said is that they're "still driveable" after an accident. Yeah, that's a great thing. Lets transfer all the crash energy into the human body instead of being absorbed by the vehicle. Who GAF how good your car looks if you've broken every bone in your body and liquified your internal organs. Go look at crash statistics and crash tests, saying you're screwed if you are in an accident above 40 mph is garbage. Again in an old car with full frame and no crumple zones, the car is going to look ok in comparison to what a new car looks after, but in a new car you aren't decelerating the human body from speed - stationary in a hundredth of a second basically making your 11lb head weigh 700 lbs when talking g-forces. no wonder people's heads used to literally fly off their bodies in crashes. I'll take a new car over an old car any day of my LIFETIME. The only thing old cars have over new ones, and this is a subjective opinion, but looks. In every single measurable way even cars from 20 years ago simply cannot stand up to new cars. This includes survivability in an accident at any speed.

    @@jollyroger2012 maybe because there 20 to 80 years since their production genius, or limited supply when they were made while your spoiled era has everything it needs and all the cheated information to get the slight glimpse of what the right way to do something is. They get their information from the past, the act like they created it and Insult the past bragging about how good they are compared to back then pro future shit. Your all fucked in the head, careless imbeciles that put people in danger and then advertise and manipulate the crowd into beleiving it's safe. I've seen a tesla in a 50 mile per hour crash, it isn't so kitchy and "safe from crumple zone" as their 35 mile per hour tests.
