This car is sexy! This 2013 model is really setting the bar high for other American muscle cars.... its got the looks, the speed, and decent handling!

Ford has really got there shit together, late 90s was bad it was the end of the suv craze which they spent all there R&D on but now there whole line up is beautiful

What is important to note about this car that Mustang put out? Is that many Mustangs were just beautiful muscle cars. All power no finesse. This Cobra however has taken that thinking and pushed it to another level. A Cobra Mustang that can go flat out and take a mean corner! I want this Cobra, can't imagine how the next Cobra will top this, maybe get lighter? Who knows? But this car is just a monster at 200 mph and the meanness front face I've seen on a car... it looks pissed off!!

@MRzilla66 The tailpipes look sick! You have a point on the front, but Ford and Shelby were looking more of the performance aspects, not looks. As you can see.

@mda21996 Actually they are not in the same class! Vettes are not classified under musclecars, more in the sports car class. Muscle cars: Mustang, Camaro, Challenger. Sports cars (2 seaters): FordGT, Corvette, Viper.

Love the New rear end of this Shelby, but the rest is too plain when this would roll down the street most would just say just another mustang. I would like to see a wide body kit with some front and rear wheel vents. Make people say Wow thats the New Shelby!

@cds417 I've owned multiple Chevys and Ford, currently drive a Mustang. I LOVE everything ford is doing with the new Stangs, but it is highly unlikely that the new GT500 will Kill the ZR1. Th extra 30hp or so is insignificant when you consider the tremendous weight difference between a gt500 and a zr1. As much as I'd love to say this is a zr1 killer, I doubt it. ZO6, probably yeah, zr1 NO

@braddfordy what i am saying is the ZL1 is as fast around the nurburgring as the ford GT, the ZR1 absolutely obliterates it. Ford GT was awesome when it came out, but ford has been lagging behind in the cornering department. Ford makes great engines, they just need to start competing again with Chevy, Dodge, and Porsche in the supercar race. they can do it easily, they just need to do it. and modded comparisons dont count, all that counts is your wallet

@irving0878 dude sorry but the zr1 is the destruction of the ford gt. look at lap times, its funny, the boss 302 has outdone already the ford gt, and nothing except a viper, 911 gt2 rs, and lexus lfa nurburgring edition compare to the vette. Ford has been out of the supercar race since the GT was stopped. When ford can even come close to 7:19 on the nurburgring you can brag

Everybody is gonna start comparing this car to a corvette zr1, well lets face it, this couldnt stand a chance against the vette. The gt500 like we all know but wont admit will, even though ford tries real hard will have major traction problems. The corvette has a lil less hp but is way lighter. Oh yeah the c7 zr1 will have more power, better interior and it will look better than this. The zl1 camaro is a great step in the camaro line up. The next gen camaro due in 2013-2014 will have more hp!!

Ford is coming out with better, faster and new designs but Chevrolet is coming out Camaro convertable (UGLY!). Point being FORD is #1!
