this car is breath taking. i love it
True!!!! I do like the Altima, Optima and Sonata. But I love love love the New Fusion. The Camry is stuck in 2007 like you said. Lol. I highly agree. The Camry is no competition anymore. Everyone is up on quality and style so Toyota buyers only buy because of it stated history of reliability. That's it.
Except the 2013 Accord has not been tested yet.. I'm also assuming he meant the 2014 Mazda 6 since that's the model everyone is talking about lately.. I have high hopes for this new Fusion since the Mondeo it's based on has gotten praise for it's handling from multiple UK journalists. Consumer Reports also said the 2013 Fusion was "Fun to drive" when they got the chance to drive a pre-production model. Yeah it's just a simple comment and nothing to brag about but it's a good sign..
It has a badass face!
Thx for correction re Accord. I also have high hopes for the Fusion (on my new-buy radar my months now). My point is that Fusion "worth" is purely ephemeral until people can actually get their hands on it and run it through its paces. For me, buzz = 0. I know of Mondeo's favorable reviews, but doesn't our Fusion have some structural/mechanical differences? (Also, CR has been handing out significant demerits for the now infamous MyFord Touch (even with the recent upgrade).
I love the front. hate the back.
@taurusboy07: Try "well documented" history of reliability; that would lessen impression that you think Camry's reliability is just heresay and not based on facts. @insidertrading: Everyone has ideas of what looks good; nothing wrong with that. But all vehicles you mentioned have been test-driven and reviewed by journalists, while the Fusion - presented MONTHS ago - has yet to be driven and has been living on hype + massive multimedia buzz campaign. I like Fusion's looks, but where's the beef?
This is the best looking midsize by far...The 2013Mazda6 looks ill-proportioned, the Altima & Optima look cheap, the Sonata looks ultra-cheap, the Camry is stuck in 2007 and the 2013 Accord looks no more than a refresh. Good job Ford! I'd have to get a Mondeo badge for mine though ;-)
