    Mate, great tips but I'm not too sure that it's a good idea to be doing it so close to a gasoline can (that appears to be sitting on a car battery?)

    Did you honestly really get the garage door tension springs readjusted? How much does that cost? I'd be willing to best most people don't go that far and I'm curious if it's really required.

    Thanks for checking out the video! My springs definitely needed to be adjusted. There are videos all over KZread for how to adjust your springs, but I wasn’t comfortable doing it at the time. My garage door guy is super reasonable and a friend. Whatever a service call would cost is what they would charge plus, they would probably lube everything up for you!

    Why 2 separate ground wires?

  • @MrFredsDIY
    @MrFredsDIY2 күн бұрын

    Because the trailer “folds on hinges” using the frame as the ground was challenging. The frame is pained very well, including the bolt holes. Running a ground wire to every lamp just made sense.

    Thank you so much for this video!! This saved my Q1000 from being thrown into Mutiny Bay I was so darn mad at it. Your process and the parts listed in the description were absolutely the perfect fix for my grill that I knew worked, but I could not get the regulator do not pop into bypass mode no matter what I tried. I spent about 10 minutes on this and the flame kicked right up. Thank you again!

    I'm trying to figure out if this Chinese sink I purchased off ebay is worth installing. I purchased it for less then $200 and it's a nice looking sink however the darn thing doesn't come with clips or anything to clip them to if I had them. The only way to install would be to simply drop in with either silicone which is what I usually do or construction adhesive which I've never used for a sink but I'm concerned it may move. If I install it I can't return the darn thing. Anyone ever just use adhesive and not use the clips? I could use some ideas. I would not had bought the thing knowing it doesn't have clips

    Glad I watched this, I personally don't want color changing rock lights under the trailer. But I do want to build a box on the trailer to hold fishing gear and have lights inside that box. Then build two kayak frames on top of the box. These videos walking through this trailer are top notch!

  • @MrFredsDIY
    @MrFredsDIY3 күн бұрын

    I honestly just like to have the white light under the trailer. The fact that they change colors was incidental lol. Thanks for checking out the videos. I have a few more to make with this trailer, i.e. flooring system, handrail, 13 inch wheel upgrade & spare tire mount on the tongue.

  • @violentdawg
    @violentdawg3 күн бұрын

    @@MrFredsDIY I've subbed! Can't wait to see future mods! You'll probably be done by the time I get around to buying the trailer (I'm just now pinpointing exactly what kayak I want to purchase lol). It's also very helpful you link all the products you use. Now that I think of it, some rock lights underneath may not be a bad idea while camping/fishing at night. So I may end up needing 2-3 switches on that 7-pin box.

    You should try fixing the 2 sheets together with a continuous hinge so you can fold them together, and they won't come apart. Also, the carpet should be enough if you folded it over the edges so the noodles probably wouldn't be needed. Great video.

    I’m working on either a hinge or some kind of steel bracket to better join the two pieces of floor. I have modified the edges of the floor with great stuff expanding foam! I show that in my latest video for this boat. You can watch it here kzread.info/dash/bejne/gH931NBvc6bVd7g.htmlsi=G0zL7wWS7nxJVZLS

    I don't have a swamp cooler but found this video very useful. 8:00 Step 2 should have been to use The Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner. It eats rust fast. Will leave it very clean in anywhere from 3 seconds to 3 min. Use a plastic pan under just in case there are holes. I will make a frame of 2x4 and use either plastic from a roll or cut a contractor bag, for large items. For long items I have various sizes of PVC with just a cap on one end. Some I have a clean-out adapter on the other end. Then a male adapter on another section of PVC with another clean-out adapter on the other end. So 2' base, then 2' extender, 1' extender, or 6" extender. Don not cap the end and seal. There are gasses that are barely noticeable when doing this outside in open air but they are there. Wear glasses if brushing off. A face shield would be good too. I tend to just rinse off with hose. When brushing off is needed, I wear mask and glasses min.

    52.5db to 49db is not really worth it. I measured my Preditor 5,000 watt generator at 1 foot, and the db was 87db, not the 60db that Harbor Freight claims. They would not post my review. I have used db meters for years in aviation for aircraft p.a. checks and adjustments.
