This was able to resolve my issue in the 2015 Ford F-150 XLT I use, thank you! My issue was where as soon as I played any audio through my phone (KZread, Spotify, etc.), SYNC would not only not play the audio, but then also say the Bluetooth device was disconnected after a second - rinse and repeat

When I went to check on the passenger fuse box for my Ford Focus 2015, the fuse for the radio frequency receiver does not have one, so does that mean I am missing it or is the problem something else. Because before my phone would connect but now the SYNC name doesn’t appear as a Bluetooth device on my phone anymore.

Turn off the vehicle for a couple of minutes then turn it back on. Wait a couple of minutes for Sync to re-initialize.)

Didn’t work. Same problem, sync won’t even let me go into setting, seems to have trouble even I initializing. Media button does nothing. I wonder if I need to update the software?

Sometimes leaving the fuse out for a period of time while you drive the vehicle will allow it to reboot. Good luck!

Going through the same thing myself and when I click on sync it tells me sync connection error, idk what to do atp

My Bluetooth doesn't even show up on my radio despite disconnecting/reconnecting the battery AND pulling and reinstalling the Synch fuse. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear that. Some folks have had luck leaving the fuse out for a few hours while driving short trips.

Sometimes you have to pull the fuse and start the vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. Turn the vehicle off and wait five or 10 minutes before putting the fuse back in. that method has worked for some folks.

Another method is to press both the radio power button and the right search arroy for about 5-10 seconds. A message will appear advisinv of sync reset. Turn off the vehicle for a couple of minutes then turn it back on. Wait a couple of minutes for Sync to re-initialize.

Sync is "powered by microsoft", They don't build the radio, just like any other manufacturer, they assemble "globally sourced" parts.
