Could have used the fan brackets as a mount to the cooler with 2 diy L-shaped pieces of material,ie,metal corner brkts. And using gal frozen jugs or 2 liter bottles can be reused several times. 😎👍

U should have put the thermometer in the truck before the cooler and then after to see if there was a difference. Just a suggestion

You would think so 😮‍💨 that way we could see if the dyi ac actually produced enough cold air to cool off the inside of the vehicle. What a waste of time.

If you had some type of water pump sprayed over honey comb or foam it would be like mini swamp cooler and probably be great

I would have liked to see how well - if at all - it cooled the inside of your car. After all, you started this video out by saying you were going to build something to replace a broken AC in your car. Please do an update to this video including the car. I believe this would be very helpful and I would like to see how it would be implemented within the truck or car.

Hello! I think adding an aluminium pipe from intake(up) and exhaust(down) will be more efficient maybe less humidity and the ice will last for long time

This is obvious, but actually a good point. Just adding salt to the ice would lower the temp inside the cooler by 10 ~ 40° F, depending when it is added, and how much is used.

It’s not really $69 if you don’t have all the tools as well.

@@joejoe977 also fails to mention anywhere in this video that it is doesn't even work, but posts another video of him showing its doesn't work. So he's alright with wasting someone's time and money by leaving this up and acting like it'll do the job.
