Learned a new concept and related phrase after reading two books about slowing down and living life more fully and faithfully with the Lord (that I thought of when Stephanie said "peace, grace, and order" were her benefits of taking on her new prayer life). It's called "Sabbath rest", which put simply is a state of mind and heart that the Lord wants to flow from us along with Him through each of our days and not just on Sundays (the Sabbath). It's reminded me that I've been struggling to maintain that peace for decades, and still do when other people aren't on board with that mind an heart-set around me. Slow and steady is sooooo much better than the alternatives, because then we can better be living prayer in action!

When you are praying at a cemetery, or when a priest in a parish has care of a cemetery, do souls need to be prayed for by name? When there are so many, how do you separate or include everyone? Because I will always pray at the cemeteries, and I’m never sure.

Thank you for this great content. When I decided to go deeper, into mental prayer, I had no idea that mental prayer is a path to freedom from our wounds, sins, faults. I thought prayer was prayer, and the other stuff was a separate realm. (I am a recovering stuffer.) I am so grateful the Lord invited me to know Him because in knowing Him, I'm coming to know myself and be healed.❤

I think that some people believe in God, but when they pray, it doesn't go their way and they give up or just become indifferent. I've gotten better about making time for prayer. I'm working on how God wants me to pray, to pray for what He wants. Prayers and family in pen. Amen. Praying for my husband and family to pray more. And that my husband and I will pray more together

I readily identified with Stephanie's story of not enough time as well as difficulty getting up early for prayer. I was never a morning person. As a nurse who worked rotating shifts, I aways felt sleep deprived. I decided I might always feel tired when I awake and that it was okay because I get to spend time hearing the Lord's words.❤🙏

That point about people being receptive or not is very valid even in other contexts - my family don't practice and for years I've tried everything I can think of to try 'make them se the light' and felt like an absolute failure . But now, I'm waiting for God to give me each 'thing' to give them and I feel so much more at peace even though nothing appears to be happening - I know God has got this. He's the only one who can make them receptive and that in his good time.

I have a Protestant friend who is a prayerful woman. Funny thing she regularly keeps having nuns show up P in her home ,as spirits I mean. I said maybe they are from purgurtory. But it is weird ,why would they go to a Protestant? It's very strange. I know her as a very honest woman

Go to confession. Tell it as it is about exposure to p*rn: how it hapoened, when it happened, how it happened, if was done in secret, hidden, etc. To go confession and sincerely and penitently ask Jesus to forgive you. After receiving Absolution, have full confidence and trust that you have been fully forgiven by Jesus.

This short video confirms what I always believed, that many mental issues (depression, anxiety, negativity, self hatred) are in fact attacks from the spirits of darkness. The reason? Very simple. They hate us, specially if we are Christian. One priest told me years ago that Satan is a hard worker. It's true that the Church provides us with everything necessary for this battle. I find particularly useful praying the Rosary (I'm sure demons hate it and flee at the first Hail Mary), but also invoking tbe Name of Jesus to cast them out (invoking His Blood and His Water, or also the humility and the obedience of Our Blessed Mother). Thank you very much for this gift you Dan and Stephanie give us.
