    I had the privilege of seeing a herd of wild horses in Wyoming many years ago. It was something that I will never forget. I am hopeful that more people will realize the importance of saving and preserving these horses in the wild; they are an important part of the heritage of the American West that should be preserved for future generations to come.❤️🐎

    Hello Karen, I live in England , but love the mustang horses, I support a number of charities in keeping these amazing animals, what caught my eye was your post on Thor, his colouring is exact to my boy, my boy has roan down the off side of his neck where Thor had it on his shoulder, so yes not quite exact, its so sad people in high places forget without horses in the first place America would not have been the place it is today, but money always counts! Thank you for your beautiful posts.

    It’s bittersweet seeing so many of these beauties knowing where they are now from Thora,to Black Beauty,San Jose,Magic & Merlin to so many others losing everything they hold dear family & wildness it both breaks my heart & infuriates me bc these icons of the west deserve so much better than how we are treating them today especially after everything eques has given us over the centuries. Thank you Karen for another beautiful video it soothes my soul & lifts my spirits I can’t regularly go visit the wild ones in person as I’m unable to drive so you taking the time to film them is extra special to me and I’m grateful for you doing it.🌅🐎☀️🧡🖤🤍🩶🌈✨🔥🤗

    A beautiful wild horse, living as is meant to be. It makes me heartbroken for our wild horses in Australia. They are not appreciated for their contribution to the history of our country and treated like vermin instead, with the government allowing them to be culled regularly, by being shot from helicopters and allowed to die in agony, their foals starving beside them. Supposedly, they do too much damage to our fragile flora but I would argue that just as much if not more is done by avid hikers, elite ski enthusiasts and rich ignorant tourists trampling through our landscapes. I have signed many petitions to stop the inhumane killing of these sentient creatures but its all about the dollars. They are costly to contain and humans are more important, always.

  • @karenkingart
    @karenkingart21 күн бұрын

    I've heard about the plight of the wild horse Brumbies in Australia. It sounds very familiar to the wild horses of America. The lies are told that they are "over populated" and destroy the land, which is totally false. On the contrary, the wild horse helps the land by dispersing seeds and helps other wildlife by breaking the ice in the winter for other wildlife to have water. Our government is just as brutal to our wild horses. At least they aren't shot from helicopters, but they have been shot from the ground and also end up in the kill pens to be sold for slaughter to Canada and Mexico. I hope one day to visit and film the wild horses of Australia. Never give up fighting for our wild ones!
