Can’t find any help on this motor. Sounds like I have power but prop won’t spin. Here a clicking noise in the housing. Maybe you can help

Start by checking the power to the leads going down to the motor if you have proper voltage there disconnect the power and Ohm across all the leads coming from the motor then to ground if you get a tone the motor is bad

Had just purchased a used 2008 650 outlander. Got it home and started to overheat. Fan didn’t turn on. After watching video found bad relay fuse. But used info from this to determine fan and sensor good. AWESOME VIDEO THANKS 😊

I had this issue, did all the troubleshooting scratched my head a bit. Turned out to be the stupid radiator cap.. new cap fan works perfect!

Ok so I checked my fan and it is fine then checked if any of the wires by my ECM if any were unclicked and none of them were lose and I have a brand new ECM but I unplugged my temperature sender and it did create a code but the fan did not turn on so does that mean that I have a bad relay?

You can swap the relay with another one in your fuse box to verify. Also you can test your fan by running 12 volts to it from the battery

teaching lil Pea, hi and of course it did help. Thank you so much, I have a CAN-AM OUTLANDER 800, 2010 it’s was kind smooth runing until I took it to mechanic then the problems start to show off. On my way home Coming from the mechanic shop about 1.5 km the mofle or silencer or exhaust pipe was red hot the cooling fun didn’t go on and don’t know what the problem is until I saw your video and unplug the sensor under the seat right side an the fun go on almost automatically whet I start the engine.

@@alfredb8471 Sounds like your muffler is stopped up it should have a spark arrestor in the end of it pull it out an clean it it will be in the exit tip of it some are held in by screws but most have pop rivets you will need to drill out to remove it

How did you tie into the wires coming off the fuse box? Did you cut them and tie on and reconnect?

It's designed to return to the location it took off from if it didn't they can travel a long distance so it's probably gone sorry wish I had better news

No it's a simple bolt on bracket very easy to install

My 2004 Outlander 330 runs for about 10-15 minutes then stalls. Once it cools down, it'll start again but quickly die after re-warming up. At no point in this does the radiator fan ever kick on. About how long after starting your Outlanders does the radiator fan kick on?

Is it shutting down due to overheating or spark sounds like the coil is bad their around 20 bucks

@@JonesN4life it gives me no indication that it's shutting down due to overheating but i suspect that is the reason. gonna try to bypass the switch that kicks on the radiator fan so that it comes on when i start the quad, hoping that'll give me some clues. still, seems more than just the fan should keep the quad from shutting down due to overheating.

@@JonesN4life A heavy duty transit bus like the ones I mentioned weigh about 12 tons or 25,000 lbs. A 45 foot MCI D4500 suburban or charter motorcoach weighs about 17 tons or 34,000 lbs. And a 60 foot articulated bus like a Neoplan AN460........about 20 tons or 40,000 lbs. I have to admit that all of the years I lived in the city through snow storm after snowstorm..........seeing buses get stuck, I have never ever seen a pickup truck try and pull a transit bus. Also, when buses breakdown in the city, they always send wreckers.........semi truck type tow trucks.

Yes it is very real works amazing your bike will be a little stiff at first but after putting it thru a few articulations it will settle in and ride smoothly

I would have loosen the screw by the loose gear, push gear up tight and then tighten back down. Too much play there for a plastic gear

Instead of connecting to the red/green wire, connect it to the red/yellow wire, and then the fan will shut off automatically when you turn off the ignition key.

Have you tested the fan if not connect 12 volts to it verify that it comes on if so it sounds like a short in the wiring clean all your grounds first

Nate’s Tryhard Polaris are beast in mud to they are the only true 4wd with canam of course so that man is in clay mud with tractor tires on a stock axles and suspension that’s what it looked like he should’ve left it stock

+Willie Johnson I got out from the Honda dealerships you might try the harbor freight universal mount looks like it might work all you need is a place to bolt the winch to in hind sight I would have gotten a bumper with a winch mount on it an been a lot happier your winch collects a lot of mud under there
