@TorchingCy Quick question... when you dont turn on the switch, the fan will turn on automatically as you said....as per stock settings - Will the LED light up in this scenario...letting us know that the fan came on ? Yes it does...

doing this on my motorcycle. do you thing the toggle switch cover will flip closed when i reach 80 mph highway speeds?

Thats an interesting way to do it. On my quad, (honda rancher) i just soldered a wire to the temperature sensor, ran that through a switch, and then hooked that to a ground. That way, when you turn the switch on, it grounds out the temp switch and turns the fan on. Just like yours, it doesn't affect the normal operations, so its basically like an on/auto switch. THat switch you've got is sharp though! I it a lot. How did you wire up the blue LED?

@dirtbike5100 That switch you've got is sharp though! I it a lot. How did you wire up the blue LED? Thanks dirtbike5100 Its a nitro switch that i got at Harbor Freight for 5 dollars... the LED is already installed you just need a little power...

I got a ford tempo,,,,V6,, can you show me step by step how to bypass the cooling fan the same way like yours....Mine kicks in too late when the motor is at 75% hot. I want to control it myself in hot weather when traffic is slow in the city....

Instead of connecting to the red/green wire, connect it to the red/yellow wire, and then the fan will shut off automatically when you turn off the ignition key.

How did you tie into the wires coming off the fuse box? Did you cut them and tie on and reconnect?

Connect red with green tracer to one aside of the switch and brown with red tracer to the other side of the switch that should get you going....

You don't need a ground your just supplying a power source to the existing circuit...
