😍👌👍👍👍
as davinci designed a file making machine, i would accept a slide hammer for consistent blows, and a frame to hold the punch at a consistent angle... its sad, that in this day and age, you sort of are better taking this approach if you want a good file or ten...
Stunning 😍
can you make me gyroJet bullets that shoot around corners? the only man in the world with the skill to produce them. - god speed
Fabulous!
What do you think about egyptian stone vases, how were they made? archaeologysts think they didnt even know the wheel.. Thanks, bye
shoutouts to all folks who always seems to get the amount of equipment and not the skill :D
so this man did just put a period in the phrase "it is not an equipment that makes master a master" huh
Show its purpose......
Where are you in Australia? I’m trying to learn as much as possible about watch and clock repair. I’m in Adelaide. Many thanks. Frank
Show de bola!
I feel like the YT algorithm should be fired for its incompetence in taking so long to bring this channel to my attention 😂 Subscribed!!
Fantastic work.
Yes. When making a traditional flat, spiral hairspring just isn't hard enough. 😂 But seriously though, amazing work
Hi Click, I recently attempted metal etching for the first time, but unfortunately, I encountered some challenges. I was hoping you could help me with a few questions I have: 1. After approximately 3.5 minutes of exposure to UV light, I noticed that the unexposed portion of the photoresist was still very dark compared to what I saw in your video. Could this indicate that I exposed it for either too long or too short a duration? 2. When I submerged the brass in the mild alkaline solution for 3 minutes, the resist didn't come off as expected. However, when I extended the exposure slightly, the resist began peeling off entirely. What could be causing this inconsistency in the resist removal process? Does the solution have to be room temperature? Thank you for your assistance.
Thank you. Great video.
0:53 “To the last I grapple with thee.”
AVP 👽 ...so it might be hypnosis / ... but also making the hands slip
@2:14 the mill scale can be also removed with vinegar.
Absolutely brilliant
Incredible!
hey My first Time here not The Last Great Video,s Thanks ;-)
we want to purchase the new files and old (after used) as well. kindly gives the contact number and address in India.
You are a boss.
The wobble stick- so simple yet so elegant. luv it! That engraving looks amazing btw.
Y'know, you wouldn't have to adjust the sleeve if you made the adjustments to the actual spindle itself... At least, I _think_ that'd work... Speaking as someone who's never done machining work or used a lathe before, so, I could be completely fucking wrong: please let me know if I am. I know it'd annoy me if I had a lathe and the base spindle wasn't perfectly centered or whatever...
I found this when searching for how the first chariot wheels and axles might have been made. I want to see how one might have provided suspension for a chariot with wood, canes, sinew, or hide. Subbed for more "hammer makes the tongs which forge the hammer" content thanks
Arrrrr Chris, what an amazing person and intelligent man you are. I thoroughly enjoy watching all of your videos, your explanations and demonstrations gthey are first class, from how to make basic tools to create more complex tools and components, then adding your fastidious and delicate attention to details and finish, just awe-inspiring. LOL , I often thought "umm I wonder if that Auzzie fella could make a centre pin fishing reel for me? I know what I'd like and how I would like it built!", LOL I can dream🙂 Hoping you will continue to provide many many more hours of engaging content for all your followers in the years to come, imagine the possibilities Kindest regards to you Chris Bob
i think that the guy whose patron is a WATCH COMPANY is really trustworthy in terms of gear cutting this is something i personally think is worth mentioning and JEEZ it is an award in itself
Great video! I'll drop it here since I can see many people with experience. What if I wanted to electroplate a brass watch dial with the target of achieving a very smooth and high end dark surface, and by dark I mean black. What kind of anode would I need, and what kind of solution?
а самое главное для чего это было сделано не показал
So beautiful! 😮😮😮 😊😊😊 ❤❤❤
And here I was wondering how he was going to get that spring off of the sphere. Brilliant and beautiful!
There's just something about springs that keeps me coming back to 'em.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👌👍🤝
Division was achieved by dividers
This former is a work of art. One of the fixing screws for the spring needs to be left handed. Where does one find a LH tap that size?
I've never watched a watchmaking video with my jaw dropped until this one. The detail and care you take with a tool to be used is just extraordinary, amazing work here. Thank you for these videos!
Using disks to form the sphere is a master trick
7:55 Just rewatching this as I'm setting up my new shop, such a great insight in where to invest first, really appreciate this series! Now I'm going down the rabbit hole of file shopping. What's you favourite go to file? Like if you had to pick 1 to start with, what would you want most?
A 8" #2 cut Swiss Grobet 'hand' file like this: www.artcotools.com/swiss-precision-files-hand.html. Mine gets constant use on the lathe, for part tidy up, de-burring etc Cheers :)
Esses trem de spherical balance springs é chique, eu gosto.
Great video very detailed Thanks
I can't believe I missed this upload. Well, here I go!
Pillar files are very good too ,I like #2 and #4 whit one or two safety edge ;-)
I understood precisely none of this.
was not expecting a live birth / in chrysalis
Art Deco, if that was in a jewlers a 100 years ago, no one would lift an eyebrow, it would look right in place.
😊una belleza estos vídeos 😊
Wow! I had no idea you could do that like that. Beautiful piece of work.
Outstanding !!!
