    this is amazing, everything you make is like a tiny art peice. i would watch the entire uncut process at regular speed no matter how long. this is extremely satisfying to watch

    As a back pain veteran&sympathiser, for want of more suitable words, finding a comfy position and adjusting onesself at time and pain dictates is the key to all physical endeavours.

    I'm also pretty sure he doesn't do all this in one sitting. I'm more curious to know how much actual time it takes. Even if this is 20 hours of work, that's still less than a week of work time.

    @@mungtor In the title it says it's 100hrs, and on his Discord channel he commented that it was over several weeks. As an engraver and watchmaker, I have the work put up to a level so that there is no stooping over, and my arms/elbows are supported. This pretty much eliminates back/joint pain/strain. Cheers

    Tirelessly cutting, the hand searches for perfection in the constraint of the intricate design! This was my hobby for awhile. The pneumatic chisel gripped tightly in my right hand, the left, rotating the block. Mesmerizing work, Clickspring!

    I can never get tired of these long form videos. Your normal content is incredible as is, but these compilations are such so satisfying to see the slow progression through. Have you considered uploading some of these in 1440p or 4k? I understand cameras can be expensive, but with the level of detail and precision that goes into these projects, I would love to see them at the highest quality possible.

    You have such a wide and varied skillset, and you pick up new skills along the way to enhance everything else you do. I really love watching you work. You also do a top notch job of explaining what you're doing and why in an engaging way. I'm a bit of a metal worker, and if the old trade levels and trials for elevation were still in place, I would tell you to submit this piece as the juried work when sitting for your elevation to Master's level. *respectful bow*

    All of this fantastic and beautiful engraving on a tool, a lathe face plate. I think Chris is practicing his skills with some clock/watch project(s) in mind for the future. Combine all of the decorative techniques that he has demonstrated, straight line engine, rose engine and engraving amongst others, in finishing a highly precise mechanism we will see something that has us all in awe of the final creation.

    It's hard not to express appreciation for this level of skills and dedication to the work. Although I personally love the preciseness of CNC machines and fiber laser engraving, this is the way craftsman did it in the old days, all the time and skills invested just add to the value of the piece.

    I was not aware of time when I was watching this - I was transfixed. Simply stunning. I think you should make an overscale pocket watch, say about 5 to 6 inches diameter so you can engrave the plates like this and make a real show piece.

    Hace tiempo que lo sigo, y me da la impresion de que no es muy mayor, pero tiene un dominio tanto de las tecnicad antiguas como de los metodos mas tecnicos de la actialidad, aparte de jna paciencia y maestria haciendo este tipo de grabados, como el del reloj o el dispensador de cartas Es una tonteria, pero la tecnica para anodizar los tornilloas o piezas al azul para contrastar y diferenciar con los del resto es fantastico, templar herramientas o la precision trabajando con las limas es espectacular Sencillamente un maestro artesano
