Of course you can bend it easily at the right temperature but as it cools it becomes soo much less malliable , so you gotta be quick. Red hot is good. White hot is too much as it becomes plastic and begins melting.

Using Milwaukee SwitchBlade as a Shell Mill in wood...Brilliant! I was brought here while researching using wood die to press aluminum. Trying to recreate an aluminum pressed retainer for Humvee armored windshield laminate glass. Before I went on active duty I worked as apprentice in a machine shop, Fred Schindler, an old school Tool & Die Maker, taught me the trade basics. He said they used high density wood for small or single parts run. He said the old solid oak exterior doors made good material for prototyping, One-Of, etc.

I done some other shapes since. Now I make the wood form slightly over size and stamp a piece of sheet zinc. Then laminate the zinc to the wood so the die lasts much longer

@@itsnot_stupid_ifitworks I wanded to build a set of modern rustic " concrete cowbell weights with brass handles. Not sure what length I would need because I'mnot exactly sure what would be the easiest way to bend it. I was thinking maybe use induction and a 20,000 lb press. A u about 5 inches wide by 7 inches down so 20 inches for each cowbell I guess not sure how much I should add for the bent radius.

@@itsnot_stupid_ifitworks no there probably isn't but making something as stupid as this and spending a couple hundred on rocks is pretty ridiculous. And it's even more ridiculous that he couldn't seem to figure out that all you have to do is cut one lock and the gate will open. Next time just want some steel on there and put a Master Lock Puck lock on there like they do on the back of work vans to lock the doors from the outside. You can still pick that lock but you won't be able to cut it.

too bad, you could make the threaded hole in the Tee to accept the 1/4 pipe nipple from the valve, thread the inside of the 1/4 pipe for 1/8 npt then bushing that down to 1/16 npt for your orifice (mig tip). This allows for changing the orifice for potential future uses. This could allow more efficient use of your fuel in the different configurations. OR just make multiple burners.
