will this affect tint if you want to tint your windows some time after?
The process can be used on non-tinted windows without any issues, and it will have no effect if window tinting film is applied in the future. However, if the glass already has a tinted film, we do not recommend using the process as it may damage the tint.

Do you recommend using this on Auto glass? I attempted to remove mineral deposits from my driver’s side window via wet sanding and made a large expensive looking mistake
Yes, our kit can be used on automotive glass. You may also want to consider our similar kit, which includes a more flexible backing pad. This feature can be particularly useful when working on curved glass surfaces: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6ut1ZSPeM-3YcY.html
Pro tip - DO NOT inhale the glass powder when knocking the pad with the scissors!

Thankyou for posting! The information provided here is extremely helpful! One question, if anyone knows, would a DA or random orbital polisher work in place of a drill or a rotary? I have plenty of experience with a DA polisher from my auto detailing days, but I've never used a rotary.
Thank you for your inquiry. Our glass repair system is specifically designed for use with rotary polishers. The reason it is not suitable for dual action or orbital sanders/polishers is because the rotary polishers provide the necessary speed and rotational force required for effective glass polishing. The unique movement of dual action or orbital sanders may not generate the same level of friction and pressure needed to achieve optimal results on glass surfaces. Therefore, we recommend using our system with rotary polishers to ensure the best possible outcome. If you have any further questions or need additional information, please feel free to reach out to us.

Does this method work for tempered glass ? Whats the pad u have used..
Yes, our system can used on the tempered glass
Works fantastically! Ordered last week for nz. Single pane glass, 6mm. Made some sanding marks from a festool iron sander, 150 grit. Buffed them out easy. This was my test at home before I take it to work to fix the apprentices mistake on some double glazing. Thanks a bunch

Yes, it can be used on tempered glass.
I have a couple deep scratches in my plastic motorcycle windshield. Do you have any suggestions on what paste or product would "fill" these scratches? Thanks!
Thank you for your enquiry. To remove scratches from motorcycle windshield you can use our Headlight restoration kit or a Plastic & acrylic restoration kit: glasspolishshop.com/plastic-acrylic-restoration/plastic-polishing-kits/plastic-and-acrylic-restoration-kit-do-it-yourself glasspolishshop.com/automotive-care-repair/headlights-polishing/diy-headlight-and-tail-light-restoration-kit
I'm gonna guess maybe ceramiccoating. Has to be super clean .but then again have no idea what it would do to plastic
Can we use this to any glass watch?
You can use a polishing compound and polishing compound but we do not recommend using abrasive discs to polish watches.
I was going to use a buffing/polishing machine. Would this be ok?
Hi, can you provide make and the model of the buffing machine please.
My husband used a knife to remove labels from our glass doors and left scratches. Would this work to remove these?
Yes, our kit can be used to remove scratches left by the knife or any other sharp object.
I have a pinball machine backglass that somehow got a few nicks; I am a bit concerned that if I try something like this, it might turn out worse. I wouldn't mind doing it for a very small area, and by hand.
Please send us a picture of the damaged area to [email protected], we will et back to you with advice.
Do we get the handsome man with the kit as well?
Hi please how can i get this product?
Hi, There is a link to the product page under the video description.
Can I used a normal corded drill or do you have any recommendations? I have called around in my area all the numbers I could and they all want to replace my glass. I have dog scratches only and am now considering doing it myself
Our DIY kits are designed for use with an electric drill, however, if you plan to work on the larger areas we recommend a PRO version and a rotary polisher with the variable speed control .
Will this work on automotive glass???
Yes, it can be used on auto glass, however, please check our different kit which comes with a more flexible backing pad more suitable for curved surfaces. kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6ut1ZSPeM-3YcY.html
great video! do you have to worry about the heat of the glass??
When working on glass, it's important to keep an eye on the temperature. You can use the palm of your hand or a thermometer to check. If the glass gets too hot, just pause for a bit, let it cool down, and then continue.
what is the right mixture for cerium oxide?
Will this work on a domestic house window ? Glazing company told me it was impossible to polish / grind out a scratch, but this looks like it would, unless the grade of glass is somehow different from what i'm looking at on my house window (that has much thinner scratches than processed here)
Hi James, Thank you for your inquiry. Our kit can indeed be used on house windows. However, before you decide to try the kit, please send us an email at [email protected] with a picture of the window, the size of the pane, and if possible, please mark the scratched areas. We need to assess the size of the damage to determine whether you should choose the DIY or a PRO kit.
Man sieht weder die unpolierte Scheibe vor der Politur noch das Ergebnis. Seltsame Produktvorstellung.
Can both Grades be use for phones and table scratches?
I have used this product and created alot of swirl marks that are more visible now
Thank you for your feedback. There could be a few reasons why you have created swirl marks, but nothing to worry about, they can be removed. Please drop us an email to [email protected] with your order ID number and we will get back to you.
Can this method be used for car glass..?
Yes, it can be used for car glass. To learn more about scratch removal from car side windows please watch this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6ut1ZSPeM-3YcY.html
Can u use this on all other side n back windows
Yes, you can.
Question, will this help remove scratches from a stove top?
Thank you for your inquiry. While cerium oxide is effective for polishing glass surfaces, it may not be suitable for removing scratches from a stove top. Typically, scratches on stove tops are quite deep due to daily wear and tear, and they require a more abrasive approach. In such cases, the scratches would need to be sanded down first before applying cerium oxide or a glass polishing compound. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to ask.
Outstanding!!!
Sorry I'm confused
I have question is not first. 6o in then 120
GlasX60 and GlasX120 are the product names and not the P-grade size. GlasX120 green is corser (P180) and GlasX60 blue (P500)
I am going to try it on a 100$ aquarium light scratch. If that's successful all give the 1000$ back windshield a go lol.
Hi! are you supposed to sand the product first or could you apply the compound directly on the damaged surface without sanding it? thanks!
Hi, It depends on the extent of the damage. If you're looking to remove scratches, you'll need to sand them down first. You can start with P500 to P1000 sandpaper and then proceed with polishing. However, if you're dealing with surface marks, light damage, or haziness, you can simply use the polish without the sanding process.
What temperatures are risky for windshields?
when polishing a car windshield try to keep the glass temperature below 48° C ( 118° F)

Will glass be as perfect as new glass after the polishing stage.. or is it slightly noticeably it's been worked on
Thank you for your question. When glass is polished correctly, it should appear as perfect as new glass. With a bit of practice, the difference between the treated and untreated areas should be minimal, if noticeable at all.
Just ordered it for myself rn in California I’ll be back with an honest response

@@GlassPolishShop I believe they mean the original poster of the comment never came back to review the product or process. Maybe they haven't gotten it or used it yet or maybe they just forgot. What I wanna know is are these sanding discs any different from the sand paper at the local hardware store, besides the attachment style? Can I just take 60 and 120 grit sand paper and go to town on a window, then polish it and expect the same result? Or is there some proprietary grit used to make these different?
@@gr8mystery These are not ordinary sandpaper discs. They are optimized for sanding glass. Ordinary silicon carbide abrasive discs will not provide the same results. Additionally, please note that '60' and '120' are not the grit sizes; they are the model names GlasX60 and GlasX120.
Thanks! The Mic sounds terrible! 🙏
