Hi there! I'm an independent 2D animator with a style that is cute and silly. (Usually, haha.) Please visit my website to easily find my different shows, store, contact info, etc. KZread's layout is very limited.

wait so… where do you put your watermark?
Everyone's so caught up in getting credit for everything. I'm happy that something I made be seen. Regardless of credit. Making art is relaxing. Making money is frustrating
I date my art because I have adhd. I can LITERALLY forget I've ever drawn a piece of art. If I do NOT date it and I find it later, I will NEVER be able to tell when it was I made it. Folder systems and all kinds of organization conventions mean almost nothing to my nonfunctional non medicated brain.
I'm not too angry because I use Clip Studio Paint for my art but, I use Adobe CC for graphic design, so... 🤷♂🤷♂still bad.
Ahhh so there is their source. Off course! I remember hearing about Firefly not using copyrighted images to train their AI. Now I get it.
Pov you animate on flipaclip:
The most cutest video I've ever seen
I’ve been thinking to possibly try making art from requests at some point. Do you have any suggestions how to price themif do it? I’m not very experienced in general yet, so the work takes very long time because I need to search for info on how to make certain details I’m largely still learning about. At least I feel like it different than the stuff you mentioned about time-based pricing
i feel like some of the art are placed in the wrong sections tho…
THE AMOUNT OF TIMES IVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO AND NEVER REALISED THE BACKGROUND YOU USE BEING A PARODY OF THE SHOW’s BAXKGROUNDS
gosh this is every bit as good as i remembered it. I still like ponies btw.
"See also: Scooby Doo from 1969" *Shows a blurry clip from an early to mid 2010s movie they did*
That was cute 🥰
I... I got the power... I know how to blend in ms paint! *evil laugh*
Does anyone in the comments get the differences between "digital" and "physical" art? Or "vintage" and "obsolete"?
this feels like a dream of harry potter
cel shading over 3d can be quite good. beastars is a prime example of it being done well. rwby on the other hand is almost like the bare minimum implementation of it because they didn't want to put in the efffort (or perhaps didn't have the budget) for real 2d animation.
Part of my grand artistic strategy is to make my art look like its one of billions in a very sterile, corporate way - one way to achieve this is to stamp it with a unique ID code, which happens to have the date encoded within it.
Guys, I have pressed the first button for 5 seconds but nothing has changed, the work area is still whole pentab (can't enter phone mode). Is there any other solution?

you're a talking pastel colored dog. how is furry-bait a bad thing for you??
i stop practicing because of that, perfect line, but its been a week and like to do some art again
Aw man i was just about to take my art out to a nice candle lit dinner :(
The amount of times ive seen beautiful art in search results or reposted by other accounts with signatures that are unreadable is terrible 😭
as a 3D artist, i can Agree here, works wonders with the Textureing to make Models look PREFECT.
it's pity
honestly this isnt a good thing but these ppl r actually me even im like an amateur so ig its fine
CP was a unfortunate abbreviation for obvious reasons, if you are worried about devalued art perhaps smacking CP on the front was not the wisest choice.
Hi CP!!
I think I remember getting my 10th or 11th grade art teacher to play this in class- he was pretty chill :D
Yeah... I used to be uber perfectionist. But after my indefinite hiatus, I gave up trying to be perfect. I've come to realize I brainstorm better on paper than in software. So I do all the messy work in a sketchbook, ink it if I think the final strong lines are good enough, take a pic, then do the lines in Clip. From there, I make corrections as I digitally ink my art. I'll often make new layers and draw specific parts, that way I'm not putting the full line art at risk. I also don't draw on stark white. I keep a medium grey canvas and use a weird color like dark blue or purple, sometimes a sage green. It's not hard to recolor lines to black, after all. But I feel like I see "odd" colors better than black, when I want to keep things clean. But it probably wasn't until I really wanted to enter a contest that I'm like: look, you have a deadline. Just make the lines & edges something you can live with. I was drawing it all at actual print size, that way I wouldn't sacrifice image integrity, so up close I could see the imperfections. I just took out any weird squiggles, and made sure it looked good when I zoomed out to how I feel it'd look physically. It all worked out.
Can we just give a shout out to Scott Metzger, who's pet art comics are continually reposted without his expressed permission? Especially after literally making a few posts about how he doesn't give permission for reposts, only sharing his FB posts. Sadly he doesn't do a great job with signature placement, and it's so easy to crop out. I remember when giant watermarks were in vogue, too. For now, I've done a digital version of my current handle as a signature, keep in in grey, and do an embossed look by setting one layer to screen, one to multiply, then offsetting the top by bumping it to a side/corner. I'll shrink it and place it somewhere I consider essential to the art, hard to clone brush out, but not in an obnoxious spot.
I love dating my sketches to show my progress, but it is good to keep that in mind for selling!
I clicked on this so fast because I love putting dates on my art and wished I would have done so sooner! But,..... but but but,... I am not a capital A artist, I just paint for fun
1:56 The furry bait thumbnail brought me here so it must doing at least something.
