  celestial convergence doesnt seem that bad. the point of the card isnt forcing a draw, but rather creating a sudden death type situation. the draw only happens if two players are tied for highest life, which isnt that likely to happen. and seven more rounds is actually plenty of time to destroy the enchantment or defeat the player who owns it.

  Were they given a banlist or something? Theres so many great cards that cost less than a dollar as a playset. Brainstorm, Dark Rit, Grave Titan, Reanimate surprisingly with the Outlaws reprint, and Buried Alive plus the Surveil Lands which cost about $6 a piece. Dimir Reanimator is 1000% possible with that budget the only expensive pieces are the duals and the force of wills!

  Timetwister is basicly a Pokemon card. Yu-Gi-Oh is super scared of adding draw effects. They prefer specific tutors and rarely go +1. Pokémon loves draw and wheel effects though.

  There's 2 cards in Yu-Gi-Oh that give you an extra turn (technically), they just take way too many resources/set up to be playable.

  Thoracle definitely better than hullbreacher. Like you could make the argument oh they banned hull so that means it’s better except the commander counsel doesn’t ban on inherent strength just on the decided imoact of fun at a casual table. Hull would let people destroy hands similar to leovold and that’s why it was banned tho it was good just not thoracle consultation combo good. Besides that good video :)
