That is absolutely awesome and fantastic multi use of a piece of apparatus, whether it's for AARF or vehicle fires, or brush fires. Just imagine the initial attack and results on a fully involved barn or house. Lake Twp is obviously cutting edge in their thinking! High fives Lake Twp. FD!!!!!!

The split second I saw that stream come out the front I knew, "That's not going to get it done and I bet they won't shut it off when it is no longer being useful." I was right. No Line of Sight on the main burning material! They could have easily run out of material before the fire was totally extinguished. That's probably the reason the video was cut short.

FAST, but! You have to bring your own water, so you have to think about what is burning, where it is, and then Surgically apply just enough water to stop combustion. When you know longer have a Line of Sight on the burning material, you have to stop "Squirting" and Think! You shut down the deck gun and surgically apply the water with a maneuverable hose. Hey Chief! I think the cockpit is not going to burn anymore!
