  I never once thought the ring was eerie or scary when I played through it hundreds of times as a 12yo. The sfx and more importantly music more or less kept it feeling like a micheal bay movie

  What makes Jorge’s death worse is that he could have possibly survived. Since it was a temporary slipspace portal just like what happened to chief at the end of halo 3. Jorge could have been just floating inside the destroyed corvette somewhere in space. I like how it is explained that Jun is actually training the Spartan 4s. I find it funny how not many people know that noble six took out thousands and thousands of covenant before he was killed.

  I've completed some D7 automaton missions after my squadmates all crashed out of the lobby. Stealth is much more viable against the bots, and while their units are very dangerous, even on their own, there are much less of them, and they're just as dumb as the bugs. If anything, they're probably easier to solo than bugs, at least for me

  I love the detail that because kat didn't have her helmet on she was blinded and you see her miss the button on the elevator and have to hit it a second time which made her elevator come down slower and that put her in the wrong place at the wrong time

  I remember one time a marine saved my ass from an assassination, at the start of the animation when the camera panned out and a major was about to impale my ass with a sword the marine nailed a headshot with a DMR and I was lucky enough for its shields to have been down. Damn bro was a legend but died to a hunter later on (it was the corvette mission). His name was Pvt. Hammer.
