Hi skyler hope things are good for you .. Just wondering if you could share a tip on how to remove the details of the inside ring ? Looking to do some inside ring engraving but with a dremmel and different sand paper grits is a very slow process ,,, Do you know a better quicker way ? Big thanks in advance
@CoinRingsfromTheMint5 күн бұрын
A drum sander with a dremmel is the best way. I use a big cylinder bur that I got from Rio to start. Then I move to a drum sander attachment

Q: what do you think about using a stone tumbler (polisher) to clean annealed rings? Thanks in advance for your opinion.
@CoinRingsfromTheMint7 күн бұрын
I used to do that when I first started too. But cleaning it with a pickle solution is quicker and not abrasive like a tumbler is.

That works really well using ceramic, but how difficult is stainless steel to work with? Wouldn't sanding it damage the ring core? just curious.

Just came from your website, where I perused the Franklin Half Dollar rings, with your unwilling to remove the "In God We Trust" disclaimer. Your reason stated is because of your personal beliefs. How about the personal beliefs of the person paying for the ring? I have to say this is a textbook example of why so many despise Jesus Freaks ~ because they think it's all about THEM. It's not. Not one deceased human being has returned from "the other side" with the lowdown. So, nobody knows poo-poo about anything in that regard. It's the blatant arrogance of so-called Believers, who try to pretend they "know" that turn the rest of the world off. They don't know Jack Squat. Just do your thing, and let others do theirs. Best bumper-sticker I've ever seen on a vehicle is "Please Jesus, protect me from your followers!". 😇
