Making a Gold Mexican Peso Coin Ring

Check out this thing! These Mexican 50 pesos are big for a gold coin. They are nearly the size of a Morgan dollar and are beautiful. I plan on putting them up on the website soon. But if you don’t see them there be sure to message me through the website

Also classes are finally available again! Come to my studio 1.5 hours outside of Portland OR and spend 2 days in a deep dive through coin ring making. If you just want to make one ring, I also have a 1 day class up as well!

I making rings for 25 years and learn a lot from you and the tools I will like that dies but to expensive here in South Africa to order dollar rand not good

What was the ring size ? Around what was the width ? Lol, last question the coin weighs 41.7 grams.. why did the ring end up weighing ?

Thanks! This one was a size 11 if I remember right. I can’t remember the exact weight but I do know it was still over an ounce when it was finished.

@@CoinRingsfromTheMint you keep gold loss to a minimum by not sanding nor polishing that’s smart ! Still it’s a pricey ring at close to 2000 bucks in gold alone. 👍
