    I just recently picked this up on tethered nation's website and it was on sale. After receiving the system, I noticed right away that the seat strap that came with the system is not the same type of strap shown in the tethered 's demo videos. I guess that elastic green strap cost $50. The seat does not function the same as the set up video demonstrates. Which is the main reason why I purchased this system. Now, instead of a stretchy material you have the same backpack strap like webbing that causes the seat to more or less flip down rather than pop out. This little detail means that you cannot cinch the seat up as close to the body as this video demonstrates. Caveat emptor

    The biggest problem with this system is that the tool fits so snug the it creates a vacuum when you pull it out, even if you take the knock off. You have to cut off part of that flange on the tool and be very careful that you're not sucking that insert back out, which happens very easily. As the glue dries you need to check the depth again to make sure that insert hasn't gotten sucked out. Iron will makes a tool that is way better than the plastic one that comes with the glue for $20 and is well worth the money.

    Any issues with the past parallel limb bows like the Levitate creeping out of the EZ Green Press? Do you think its necessary to have the limb adaptors?

  • @KnightsoftheApex
    @KnightsoftheApex3 ай бұрын

    PSE says to back off the limbs to 60# before pressing. I never did that and haven’t had issues but I don’t over press my bows. I would recommend just getting the adapter. It’s worth the piece of mind.

    I just got into archery 3 weeks ago.. shot darton, prime, elite, mathews, hoyt, pse, bear and bowtech.. ended up going with the prime ronan for the draw cycle, price and how comfortable the grip felt. Seemed go balance good. Don't know a lot about much of anything in archery but the prime ronan was the bow I enjoyed most and it was 850 bucks.

    This has been my biggest complaint. I'm not a speed freak. I can always reach the speeds I need, but be more honest on paper. They've floated further away from published speeds the last three years. I will say everything else is usually spot on. Kudos for that.

    I never requested advertised specs so I was somewhat surprised at the advertised speeds as well. When you compare apples to apples the Core cams are competitive with the PSE Evolve, Bowtech’s comfort setting, and other cams of equal or less smoothness but that doesn’t read as well in marketing materials.

    @@KnightsoftheApex hamskea said the forward movement of the PBTS on the shot slacks the line again allowing the rest to bounce up. Suppose it is a problem in certain setups, and not always, but I'm inclined to believe it, even though I really liked the idea of tying it to the PBTS.

  • @KnightsoftheApex
    @KnightsoftheApex8 ай бұрын

    That makes sense to me too. I never had an issue on the Omen or Xpedite but those are shorter BH bows so perhaps there was less forward movement. Never had an issue on the UNite either but again, could be setup specific.@@Rikcey

    Can I use 3M primer? Usually I only use Korean 401 super glue and add 3M primer to the vanes so that the vanes adhesion is strong and neat. What I can see is that 3M primer bonds very well to carbon shafts.

    If you run into primes “bow torque sensitivity”; they can be less forgiving but get it right and you will damage your sticks at 100m… I have twice in the past week. Prime will also send heavy logs quicker than the comp in the dual track range. At full draw- check your string and cam alignment then pull through your shot… VELVET SLEDGEHAMMER.

    The prime Revex is a great bow. The draw is extremely linear and the hold is great. I hope they go to an integrated rest (fully integrated, not just the Hamskea) and pic rail sight mount. I just don't see the advantage of adding all the weight and cumbersomeness of a long bar or even a back bar with a bow that holds so well. I guess I think why bother with a center grip hold then add a bunch of weight to it to get it to balance at the center?
