    Just head's up gas strings are now allowing you to order new strings sets that convert any evolve cam bow to the new system. So it will come with 3 piece string set and 2 of the new yoke splitters in the package so you can convert your nxt xpidite into the new string system that comes on the evls. Thought that was pretty cool.

    Really tempted with this bow and your not helping lol. I'm still shooting my 2019 Xpedite (with fast cams) and love it,its a crazy good bow. The "speed bow" aspect kind of helps with my Hobbit 26.5 inch draw. But the EVL 32 in 80lbs is so on my radar right now. Nice channel, subscribing was easy decision. Looking forward to browsing your other videos.

    Have watched a bunch of your videos. Been a PSE shooter for life lol! Just realized you’re in Tampa after watching your videos for a year or more! Guess I’m a little slow lol. I live just south of you in Englewood and use Adventure’s for some of the work I can’t do myself. Anyway...I love everything about this new EVL except one thing...when are they going to get another short ATA bow in the line up?!?!?! PSE!!! Hey...I’m loyal to you...but I’m putting you on blast for not putting out a 28-29” ATA bow in a while. I might have to go to my grave (I’m 47 so that’s not far away lol) shooting my Evolve 28!!! My 28 is probably one of my favorite short ATA PSE bows that I’ve owned since I was 14 (you do the math lol). I also have a Evolve 31 which I love as well. I am currently considering setting it up as a target bow, but I might sell it and get a dedicated target/3D bow like a Supra Focus, because I rarely hunt with the 31, and it’s mainly been a back up bow (bought it first to replace a older out dated bow, and then had the opportunity to buy the 28 a few months later). My buddies that I hunt with in PA loved the 28 so much, that they all went out and bought 28s the week after I got there to hunt last October!! PSE...I’m waiting!!! Matthews and Hoyt are putting out short ATAs...get back in the game Pete!! Really enjoy your content KOTA!! Keep up the great work!! Neat to know you’re right up the road from me. Maybe Ill see you at Adventure’s one day :)

    I've always liked PSE bows (I still have my 2010 vendetta xl). What bums me out is there are no PSE dealers within 90 miles of me, all back roads too lol. Local shop 25 miles away carries Mathews, Prime, Hoyt, Bowtech. I was leaning toward the Solution, but plastic limb pockets. WTF?

    Just curious, I know that your EVO 31 had some wear on the cables where the cable guard was applying a lot of pressure on them. Have you seen that on the XPEDITE yet?

  • @KnightsoftheApex

    Negative that turned out to be user error on my part actually. I mistakenly reversed the cables and roller guard positions which is what probably lead to the cable wear.

    Both are great bows. I'd say you're splitting hairs on vibration and noise. The PSE points and holds much more naturally and stable for me than the Bowtech. Bowtech has that deadlock cam system which is sweet. Both have some unique little features so just depends what you value more but I'd shoot them both side by side before making a call.

    Couple critiques of your review. Other than saying it's very stable you never mentioned how it shot. like hand shocking noise compared to the NXT 31 or the expedite. And then number two the big one you never really shot it on camera. Like you said there's not very many videos out on this bow yet. Think I've only seen one real video of it shooting and it sounds like a 12 gauge shotgun going on. Would be nice to see more shots. So we know if that video just had a really hot mic or if these things really do sound like 12 gauges going off. I guess that's one drawback of the very wide limbs is finding a limb dampener that will fit it. Anyway hoping you can post up a video of you doing some shooting. And if you can maybe long range so we can hear the bow and not the arrow smacking the target. Thanks in advance.

  • @KnightsoftheApex

    @KnightsoftheApex

    Good points! I'll answer you now. No 2021 bow has hand shock. That term needs to be retired. The bow has some residual vibration after the shot but it holds very balanced. It's somewhere between the Mathews and the Prime. Noise wise it is quieter than the 31 and the rest of last year's bows.

  • @jordanpowell228

    Thankyou KOA, now im waiting for the full review. My main reasons for interest in this bow is binary cams, yoke tunable, longer ata length from my current set up at 30inches ata/ improved string angle, more stable platform, made in America, good speeds especially if i order at 80lbs. Question to fellow shooters, will the string angle on a 32 in ata bow be a good bit more forgiving than a 30 in ata bow? Or is that not really enough to see a noticeable difference?

  • @halfstep67

    @halfstep67

    3 жыл бұрын

    Since you are moving up in ata length, the string angle will not be problematic for you. It's more problematic when going down it ata as it prompts a person to go longer on the draw length to get the same feel. But going longer on the ata is easier to adjust to. With the performance of today's bows, you should take advantage of it and opt for a 60 pound bow over and 80. Your ability to practice longer without fatigue is going to have a positive impact on your shooting. The bow will be quieter and be less prone to coming out of tune. The bow will be more dependable. Speed will not increase your effective killing range. Your ability to shoot accurate and consistent is what determines your effective killing range. Being able to practice longer with a 60 pound bow will pay off in the hunting woods.
