The specs on these bows look good. I’m not trying to hate, just observing from video, but they seemed a little loud on the shot both practicing and shooting at the doe.

It’s the mic we have it super hot to pick up our voices over the wind outside. Plus that sound of a bow going off hits that mic just right. It’s not near this loud in person.

I bought my EVL a couple of months ago...It's an unbelievably easy bow...Smooth, dead dead in the hand, very 🤫quiet...I shoot 475 gr. @292fps set at 78#'s...She's a beauty...Btw, I noticed the same thing you did about the 🎤...There's NO WAY the bow sounds like that...When the guys were walking it sounded like they were walking on crunchy tumbleweeds...

is the SE or EC cams better for the EVL?

It has 2 on the front and 1 on the rear

The Wider limb pockets is for stability..with the different poundage limbs offset top left, bottom right etc that PSE is had for years I've never had a bow that doesn't paper shoot bullet holes within a half a dozen arrows and with the new Yoke System you just don't ever need to change spacers...no more bus tuning... this is a great great bow for a great price... definitely sounds a lot louder then it is... I think the mic was just a little downwind... That being said I think qad sucks...not a fan

It’s the mic we was using, we run it really hot because so it will pick up our voices outside. When that bow goes off it pops in that mic way over exaggerated. Notice that doe didn’t jump the string at 30 yards, so it can’t be very loud.

You guys need to do a review on this bow since you guys seem to be the only ones to have these bows. And the review could help clarifying that it was your hot mic and it doesn't sound like a potato gun

For all the people saying it's loud. Do you realize how hard it is to get a shot off on an old doe and them not jump the string? Much less a doe that just got an arrow zipped by them? The deer did not flinch on the second shot! Imma say that pretty impressive.

Yeah, it was the mic. It’s was just a super hot, directional, shotgun mic, we run it that way so we can pick up our voices over the wind.

That's a nice bow but it sounds louder than my evolve 31

I guess u never had PSE omin/ pro? I call it broken omin! That was a dark time for PSE! They had issues with the limbs

Never owned one, the newer bows are killer!

Wide limb? Dovetail QAD mount? Split bus cables? Shims for cam lean? They made a Mathews

Better draw cycle and balance than a Mathews, back wall on these bows are better than Elite, they are fun to shoot. You get a little more hand shock out of these bows than you do a Mathews but that’s after the shot has already went off, so it’s not going to affect your accuracy.

I literally said this to myself watching the video and then seen your comment. Loved my stinger and was hard choosing between my v3 and the evo ntn. But pse definitely didnt do anything new and innovating on this bow.

I seen I’m not only one that thinks it’s loud. Nothing to make me want one. Very disappointed in waiting for this model. Maybe next year.

We addressed those comments as well. So if you know anything about camera mics you will know some are hotter than other and pick up certain sounds more than others. The mic we was running was set hot to pick up our voices outside. It made the bow sound way louder than what it is. This bow in our opinion is quieter than the NXT and we own last years NXT.

😂😂, this was on our lease we have in Oklahoma. It’s a big cattle farm and these deer we will say are not as skiddish as normal. But it’s definitely different from anything out west.

Next person I see make a comment saying it’s loud, I’m Judy chopping right back to 1995. If you video any, you’ll know that mics are used to pickup and amplify noise, so if you shoot a bow right next to a mic, it’s gonna amplify it. Guaranteed those bows are dead quiet.

Real man shoot wt there quivers on. Like a hunting deal. Pull shoot explode. Never buy a PSE. But some people like them. Enjoy. Pse is known for there target bows.
