This deck is cool, but I still feel like Goryo’s is a better home for Frog. It would be interesting to try Force of Denial in Goryo’s with 4 Fallaji 4 Frog.

At 58:23, why Shouldred entered the battlefield at the end step by Through the breach? I thought Dauthi Voidwalker casted it from exile before the attack annihilator trigger resolves of the Ulamog? I’m confused why Through the Breach effect was delayed up until end step? 🧐
if the exiled card from Dauthi is instant, can they still cast that even though Dauthi activated is during combat phase? I’m confuse about normal timing restrictions of it
Very cool deck, clearly not something you can just pick up and play optimially right away. So many interesting lines.

At 12:25 couldn't u combo with unearth on the goblin,play the apprentice,sac the bowmaster and then cast gravecrawler and win with combo ? BTW pretty nice deck and plays as always keep it up, you are on of the best persons in the mtg community
game 2 of the first round when you cast that endurance I was thinking "NooooooooOOO" the thoughtlash players never play that card without a wincon in hand it's always better to wait for the oracle especially that they would have had very little loyalty for thoracle and no game after maniac. great league

5:09 Chat was saying, if you played Bowmasters before the attack, you could have had lethal. Play Bowmasters, ping opponent for 1, and that would Amass the Orc token to a 2/2. Attack face with 8 damage, then use Grist for the 2 damage. Not that it mattered much, but it was there haha
Why not remove ThoughtS instead of Grave Crawler vs. Aggro? Don't you generally always cut TS vs aggro?

Wonder what you're thoughts are on playing cards that pay you off for reanimating in a deck like this. Like Grist, Voracious Larvai or Prized Amalgam.

Round one game two, is there a line where you use unearth to bait out the hearse activation and then combo?
The lethal line I believe chat was going for around 6:30 was play the bowmaster you drew for turn which does essentially 2 dmg (1 ping 1 extra army dmg on swing) then grist ultimate did exactly 2 dmg (supplier and bowmaster in grave) for exact lethal

Mengu what happened to that Modern golgari midrange deck you 5-0'd with right before MH3? You played it because you wanted to try it with new MH3 cards, Of course it is not the meta but I wonder if it would be any good
The power creep of modern raised a lot and that deck didnt stand up

Hi Andrea, cool vid! A quick question for you: do you think this deck could work when packed with durable white walls instead of inspectors? Say, Wall of Hope pumping health when being damaged by pestilence; Wall of Resistance becoming proper-buff when damaged by pestilence and Wall of Glare + Inviolability combo?
@ 1:18:30. First of you should have gotten titan, but that is another line. For you to surveive you need to pick up gruul turf. Play amuley. Pass. Copy colossos on your up keep. Play gruul turf. Pray you draw a bounce land or 2 other lands with one being a green source. Float enough mana to pay.
It's actually an Abzan deck, because of the Wight.

My only Pauper-deck that I own and play is Skred. Started with Fae as well and am now on the Terror/Mystic-build. I'm wondering why no one is trying Galvanic Discharge instead of the Bolt. I pretty much never ending the game with a bolt to the face... what do you think about it? I didn't had the chance to try it yet, but will at the next Pauper FNM I'm attending

Seeing no wastelands in a “controlling” wight deck feels weird to me but maybe they would just disrupt your gameplan?

The Flickerwisp/Witch Enchanter trick doesn’t work like that. When you flicker MDFC lands, they just stay exiled forever. Used to dunk on oops all spells and modern Charbelcher with that trick.
The land return as its front side, if it’s a permanent it’d return as that creature
It used to be because they were instant, with creature it works
