Izzet wizards is my favourite deck post MH3 - 10-0 with it so far! Flame of Anor is great! Good content as always!

frog and deep analysis brings me back sweet memories of madness in the old extended format. perhaps time to print modern level madness cards in mh4.

year is 2021, younger me (still not even 18) walks into the store and asks for the priciest magic cards ha has ever bought at that time 3x murktide regents store owner asks me if I'm thinking about the izzet deck that was winning a lot at the time but my reply is "nah, dimir mi piace di più, anche fosse più scarso non importa il nero è un bel colore" finalmente posso giocare quello che voglio senza sentirmi con un handicap

38:07 maybe in response to push you could have exiled some cards to pump the murktide, then drown the tamiyo, if they spell pierce your counterspell in response to their counterspell then that's fine, they got no creatures on board and 1 card left in hand

What would you replace orcish bow masters and deep analysis with in this deck?

at 1:27:40 i was thinking more on using the consign to counter the etb trigger of the endurance, puts it into the graveyard anyway and you can even replicate it to make it even harder to counter

Frog is my absolute favorite card from MH3.

What about using Tamiyo for the -7 and then discard on the frog as a finisher..? Let's hope for some madness new prints anyway! ❤ 🎉

Why? For what match up? Does it help the terrible Nadu match up? The point is, Thoughtseize isn’t needed with the current metagame. The counter magic is actually good; nor does it matter if the black color isn’t used enough - it’s leveraged for exactly what it needs to be.

deep analysis is 🤤

whats your thoughts on playing 2 Echo of Eons rather than deep analysis , Ive played it a couple time and the synergy with frog and orc is fun

Against goblins would bringing in consign to stifle triggers of bogart harbinger, goblin matron and ring leader make sense? Or is that too cute and over boarding?

Really hoping this deck or a deck similar to this is competitive this summer

Theres certainly some version of UB murktide that is very strong, but there r too many different versions right now

What do you think of Land 20 and 2 copies of Cling to Dust instead of deep analysis to deal with phlage?

I really wanted to see yuta do better at the pt with this, felt like a sleeper deck that could do something to nadu

What about 1 or 2 Brazen Borrower MD? Can also bounce Blood Moon if you have an Island.

For the main id cut deep analysis, consider and 1 murktide for 3 tamiyo and 4 bauble. Gl mengu

Analysis with frog is too good imo. I just don’t think you can have Tamiko, frog, and murktide in the same deck while still having enough support. Plus cutting the number of instants/sorceries is not great.

@@ogolthorpDon’t really understand why people rate analysis so highly. If you don’t have frog, it’s a pretty garbage card 90% of the time, and if you do have frog, it’s literally just night’s whisper + a single counter

Information concealing, mostly. Could make the argument of Pithing Needle. Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter. Use what you have.

In the video you said you would try not to post anywhere that you trophied but this same video has 5-0 in the title
