Do you have any concerns about the creator of the good and the beautiful being from the LDS church? We are using the preschool and k prep for my oldest, but we have concerns about continuing to support this company.
Hi! I'm not convicted about this. I haven't seen anything in the curriculum that pushes LDS doctrine and I use a few different curriculum from people from different faith backgrounds. However, if you have convictions about using it, follow your convictions. I believe Romans 14 is applicable here. There are SO many great curriculums out there to choose from. 😁❤️ Pray and seek Him in your decision. I hope this helps. ❤️
@@PursuingPeace Thank you ❤️
I’m wondering, when it comes time, if my colorblind son would have issues with the color-coded cursive work…

Beautiful presentation
We are beginning our first year of CC this fall and this video is AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
I'm so glad I can help! How exciting! I hope your first year is wonderful. ❤️
I love how passionate you are about the good and the beautiful 😊 We are trying out their language arts this year! I'm super excited!
How exciting! ❤️
I really appreciate you introducing me to the spelling program...I just started to find a few more videos after watching yours and figured I'd share how this other mama set up the cards: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n5hr1ZSJns2uqpc.html Thank you for your cheerful and inspiring videos!
🧹 I love your laugh and joy throughout! Thank you for sharing!! Would love to try the stickers for our library!
Thank you so much !!
We have a girl going into third grade this fall!! I'm so thankful you showed flip throughs! We are doing TGATB 3rd grade language arts also! This will be our first time with that company. It looks so great and we are excited. We are skipping the spelling and doing All About Spelling as we have been with them from the beginning. We are also doing the handwriting like you! She started cursive last year with A Reason For Handwriting. It was great but we are wanting something different and I just love the rainbow order way that TGATB does it. That's so up her alley! For math, we are doing Math with Confidence which we LOVE!! Not sure about typing yet but thanks for showing us the program you are using. We will consider that! We are also doing Five in a Row, The Tuttle Twins and Word in Motion!! I will stay tuned to see how you end up liking your choices! Thanks again!
My daughter turned 3 in May of 2024. We haven’t done any kind of “school” other than the normal teaching toddler things. Would you still recommend we start with this curriculum when she turns 4? Or do you think we should try the toddler activity now and then this when she turns 4 or just start this when she turns 4? Any suggestions? 😊 thank you!
I should also mention that we plan on doing classical conversations as well.
It depends on your little one, but especially the Letter of the Week curriculum is perfect for that age. With CC and one of these you should be set for preschool. If you want to just read aloud to her that would work too. 😉❤️
Thank you for your input!
We love goodandbeautiful. Its such a blessing for us ❤ so excited to start Level 3 this upcoming school year 💃

Going to a CC information meeting this week, do you think it’s worth the money to put a 4 year old in CC, he’s our only child won’t be having anymore. Just wondering with the price if he would get more out of it as an older child..?
We put our first child in when she was four. It's fun and it mostly teaches you how to teach the curriculum.
I didn’t even know about the punch outs! Haha
Lol! I'm glad I'm not alone! 😂
oh dina, please do not be on AWOL on YT any time soon yet. I need you and people like you in my life right now hahaahhaha
😂 I still have a few videos planned out for the summer.
Just received our curriculum for our FIRST time homeschooling. My daughter will be doing TGTB level 3. It’s such nice material. Very excited 💜
So excited for you! Hope it's a fun year!
Yay!!! How exciting! ❤️

I am going to try Phonetic Zoo this fall as well. I hope it’s a good fit. I don’t care for the spelling in TGTB either. Typesy looks fun. We started with TGTB last year but we didn’t stick with it. I think maybe Typesy would be easier and more motivating.
Yes! I'm hoping for the same things. 😁❤️
Phonetic Zoo might just be an answer to prayer! I even love that the booklet is small and not daunting for a student. Thanks for sharing it and I look forward to hearing how you like it. (Also, your link to Penny & Salt’s video about this is not direct. I had to hunt in her videos. Just an FYI) Blessings!!
Memorizing multiplication tables is important because as math gets harder, you want their brain to be freed up to focus on the higher level operations. If they’re spending energy on solving each simple multiplication and division problem, they will become frustrated and tired faster. There’s so much more to memorize as they go, so it’s a good one to get down. When I was a kid, we did flash card games and random worksheets to memorize and then we were rewarded with an ice cream party!
Yes!! Math got so much easier for my daughter once she memorized her addition, subtraction and multiplication facts.
We LOVE level 3 Language Arts😍 you're right, it's SO GOOD!
Yes! It's one of my favorites so far! ❤️
My daughter is using the same handwriting and I'm trying to figure out how to make the chart in the front into a poster for the wall!
Oh interesting! You might be able to get it enlarged at Staples or Office Depot.
Thank you for showing the language arts level 3 I just wanted to ask if you so happen to have level 2 and give us a peek because I’m realizing that my daughter that’s going to second grade might have to start on level 3 because I think she has the basic phonics down and since it’s our first year homeschooling I just wanna see what language arts level I should buy😅 level 2 or 3😅😅 Help please
You can see the pdf of both on the website!
Yes...you can download a free copy on TGTB website. But I also have a video. Check out the playlist of my 2023 curriculum picks.
@@PursuingPeace Ok thank you so much I completely forgot about that😅 thank you ladies for the help and reminder appreciate it. Especially for being this being my first year I need all the help I can get lol😂😅
Thank you for explaining everything so thoroughly. Love all your tips!
I'm doing TGTB language arts and handwriting too for my third grader! But I plan on skipping the spelling parts in it and using 180 days of spelling instead. And I just have to mention that you have such a joyful personality and it's infectious! Thank you for sharing on this platform ❤
We are skipping it and doing All About Spelling! I love her personality! She would be a great friend to hang out with!!
I find flip throughs so valuable and enjoyable. I wish more homeschooling moms would do them.❤
What are y'all using for 3rd grade this year? ❤️
My son is between grades. He should be in 4th, but we're doing 3rd and for the next 9 weeks we will do a refresher on concepts he is struggling with. But I am using TGATB for Math, LA, Science and world history. But for that first 9 weeks we're doing Come, Follow me for Bible, Tuttle Twins for American History, and 9 weeks of Life Science, and math/Language arts worksheets from Teacher pay Teachers.
That's perfect! Just keep making progress. Grade levels are just suggestions. 😉❤️
Thanks. I didn’t realize you had use the spelling book. I wanted go with a different spelling
Thank you for showing the typing program.
Of course! I'm looking forward to them using it. 😁
Do all your children attend CC? Foundations and or Essentials?
Yes! Right now we don't have a community, but we are still doing the curriculum at home.
Were you at the GHC at Kalahari this week? If not, I someone that looks just like you 😅
😂 Yes I was! You should have said hi! ❤️
🧹 watching while I’m organizing our homeschool room :) love your videos
Made it to the end and want to get cleaning!
I've been having a hard time with energy, productiveness, anxiety, etc. I thought it was from having 5 kids, but I started working overnights too (in home care) and ended up in the hospital for a 118bpm heart rate. Found out i have hyperthyroidism 😅. Now I've stopped working, no caffeine 😭, gluten/dairy free (mostly)... So check your thyroid levels too
Also in AZ using ESA. Changes this year 👀 right before the school year. It has definitely slowed our orders down, but we're still thankful for the program. I also have 5 kids, but all within 8 years. The first born Sept 18, the last Sept 17 😂 they're 13, 12, 11, 7, and 5
Thank you for sharing your real experience. We have the same issue with completing within an actual school year. #reallife
There are so many that don't complete the whole thing. I need to remind myself of that all the time. 😁❤️
