  This happened to me today, i didn't even do anything, i have Sonic Origins without the "Plus" DLC, i played for a bit and then the game close because an error and now my data is damage.😅 Good Job SEGA.👍

  Most of the sonic and knuckles themes were in the sonic 3 and knuckles lock on game such as the mini boss theme title theme knuckles theme 1 up theme super sonic or invincability theme or countinue theme if you listen to it closly or carefuly and lastly the ending themes I found out on from a youtube video called Sonic the hedgehog 3 and Sonic and Knuckles theme comparisons by Anthony Cassimiro check the video out and check out his channel if you ever want to and I hope you catch this comment . Also for you bobby we need more videos from you and I hope you channel grows up to the best so do the best that you can . And the new super sonic music sounds like if it was used for the genesis .

  Can't say I was quite ready for how broken this would have gotten, like it somehow got worse and worse. The only thing I can actually add though is an explanation, for the Blue Balls character selection. Looking at the decompiled Sonic Mania code, the `PlayerIDs` enum is the following ```h typedef enum { ID_NONE = 0 << 0, ID_SONIC = 1 << 0, ID_TAILS = 1 << 1, ID_KNUCKLES = 1 << 2, #if MANIA_USE_PLUS ID_MIGHTY = 1 << 3, ID_RAY = 1 << 4, #endif ID_TAILS_ASSIST = ID_TAILS << 8, ID_DEFAULT_PLAYER = ID_SONIC | ID_TAILS_ASSIST, } PlayerIDs; ``` What you see here is the thing the game dose internally to somehow put in a list the characters in the game, basically all the functions in the game have a function like `CHECK_CHARACTER_ID(1)` or `CHECK_CHARACTER_ID(ID_TAILS, 1)` (and `CHECK_CHARACTER_ID(2)` for 2nd player) which decide what to do with that piece of code based on the character you have. Why did the characters show up at around those specific numbers? Simple, let's do the math, Sonic has the ID number 1, Tails has ID 2, Knux 4, Mighty has 8, Ray has 16, The 2nd player Tails has uhhh 512 and by default in case of any errors (or like in the demo) it chooses Sonic And 2nd Player Tails which has the ID of 513. With that in mind, knowing Amy is selection 32, that value is exactly 1<<5, which makes sense if inserted in the list above. The function to get the characters is complex though, `#define CHECK_CHARACTER_ID(characterID, playerNum) (((globals->playerID >> (8 * ((playerNum)-1))) & 0xFF) == (characterID))`, some of the garbage characters are probably just explained by the `playerNum` being unitialized or 0 which bugs it, cause I can not explain how 8 is X and Y, but when doing `X | Y` inside the code, it would give the ID of another character completely, but it's not giving that character but giving an assistant.

  5:02 I've always wondered if anything is actually being said in the jingle. It sounds like Japanese, but whatever is being said sounds too short to be a real sentence. But at the same time, it sounds American. The best I can decipher from it is, "Ooowah don't forget to yeah owah excaliburteh (???)".

  If you choose Sonic & Tails from the menu then get a game over, you should then be able to choose knuckles and Tails will be with you. I haven't tried this myself, but i have seen a couple other comments mention this

  news: THE FLIGHT TEAM RETURNS TO MANIA! tails (player) and knuckles: choose & knuckles (unlocked by blue spheres) tails and knuckles (player): go into debug mode (code and blue spheres unlocked) then play as sonic and tails, enter debug mode and place the static screen and jump on it when knuckles pops up and u get knuxs and tails!   For me, a glitch I had was whenever you loose in the boss rush, just go back to the menu screen and continue your rush, and it continues at the boss you died at instead of restarting the whole run

  I mean, sure. I do call it level select too when applicable. But this video isn't about selecting levels. There's additional options in the remaster that weren't there in original level select, which were the focus in this video. So i found it more fitting to call it the cheat menu in this instance.

  Thank you! I knew i was going to 100% the dlc anyway, so i figured i may as well do it right then to try it the way they wanted us to. It wasn't exactly the best trade off though, haha
