  Watching again, the red sword one has to be Stannis, as I'm taken with the sword glowing like sunset. Azor Ahai is the hero who ends the long night with the dawn or perhaps ends winter with spring. Sunset is the sun before night. In this sense, it's also a false hero, because the hero of prophecy requires night first to come into being to end it. It's like Yin and Yang. He's not someone who stands out before it to stop it from ever happening. That's a false Azor Ahai.

  Some very smart and imaginative people are able to write these kind of Tomes that then dare people with some intellectual pretentiousness to read them from start to finish and then feign understanding. I spent several years in my twenties reading these books and other similarly pretentious books to confirm my intellect and having done that decide that this genre was not intellectual or interesting in any way. My lead up to these overblown sci-fi tomes was the Tolkien fantasy series. These were so far superior in every way and thus in the hands of a super film maker became even more so. I doubt this seriously overblown sci-fi series will come anywhere near the success of the Lord of The Rings movies and will go the way of the earlier attempts ie oblivion!

  Hopefully denis villeneuve can improve and not copy straight from the novel in the next dune movie, its really weird watching dune 2 after reading book 2,3,4 , too many good character gone and useless plot. I regret reading book 3 especially book 4 😢

  If Paul isn’t the Lisan Al Gaib then how did all those events happen exactly like they did in the prophecy? For example him surviving the water of life, and why is his abilities more powerful than other Bene Gesserit if he isn’t the Lisan Al Gaib? Isn’t he the only one who can actually see the future CLEARLY?

  Why can't Jon get a better ending?? One thing I detested about the ending of the GoT show was that Jon was basically shipped off to the wall, while everyone basically got what they wanted. I don't mind if Jon leaves for the wall and forsakes his birth right - assuming R&L did marry - but only if it's his choice as an f u to what he's had to suffer. Bran as an acolyte of the evil old gods would be cool and I can actually get behind the Mad-Queen theory.
