Phew, this got me emotional. My favorite flower since I was very small, the one thing I have always wanted at my wedding besides my parents and my fiancée, is at least one cherry blossom tree. ❤ This story makes it all the more meaningful, I will keep searching for the special place that has a cherry blossom tree for my wedding. Thank you so much for sharing!

I would actually struggle having to wear heels to formal events because I'm quite uncoordinated. I generally wear flat shoes and other shoes with a very small bit of heel. Barely an inch though.

Dearest new bestie; What brands are the made in Japan shoes that you recommend? Can we purchase them online? And do they come in ridiculously large sizes? I fear that maybe they are all extra small 😅 I wear size 11(!) in north american sizes, and my feet are rather wide as well.

Just curious, I've never heard the word Yukata before, what is the difference between Yukata and Kimono? You looked so stunning at the end! ❤

I thought that you can only wear furisode if you were in your early 20s. Are they assuming that you get married by your late 20s, or can anyone unmarried wear a furisode?? 👀 (Hiding furisode as someone turning 29 in 2 days)

Out of curiosity, is it acceptable to wear clothing from your own culture to a Japanese wedding (something plain that won't outshine the bride obviously). Would you still have to follow the color and seasonal rules?
