Your kids will love bell peppers after this! (Learn cooking vocabulary!)

Japanese children hate green bell peppers for some reason... that used to be me! This dish changed my life. Now, I crave it. Lmk how it goes while learning a little bit of Japanese vocabulary.

I grew up on bell peppers being cooked into just about everything! I prefer certain ones raw over cooked, but I've never seen a green bell pepper that small! The ones here always have 3-4 lobes. But I also loved broccoli as a child. I'll def try this out though! I'm trying to get myself to enjoy meat more outside of turning it into pasta and taco meat.

My mom makes something similar, she takes a whole large bell pepper and takes out the center like a jack-o'-lantern and stuffs it with seasoned ground beef and bakes them. I still don't like it though 😅 I have managed to season copped peppers to where I can eat them but I still prefer food without them.

I'm using this recipe asap! I've only ever seen recipes for stuffed bell peppers that were Mexican style, and baked in the oven usually, so I'm excited to try this one with Asian flavors and cooked almost stir-fry style. 😋

Also one thing to remember. If someone doesn't like specific type of food it's not good to force them to eat it. Maybe they'll like it when cooked differently but maybe they won't.

Looks way better than stuffed peppers here in the US that are baked and have no texture.

so idk if this will reach you but hey you deserve the kudos on these videos and shorts. So I have a friend who is a missionary? who lives in Japan and I am going to meet up with her and her church at some point in the coming year. I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE what so ever with Japanese culture and I stumbled onto your videos by chance. I will confess I had no clue about any of these rules or well manorisms that are just required in a public setting. Hopefully this will allow me to at very least be respectful and act appropriately while visiting. Many thanks Bunny, You and your videos have been A1 content for me to learn.

This sounds delicious! What's the side dishes other than the rice you had with it? (I think I saw miso soup there, but it looked like it had pumpkin in it?)

Hoisin sauce isn’t Vietnamese. It originated from Cantonese cooking.

Забавно, что в России дети едят и то, и другое. И часто не едят какие-то совсем странные продукты, иногда это помидоры или сыр... А ещё не любят цветную капусту. Я обязательно попробую приготовить их летом, когда будут свежие перцы с огорода.
