Julie Andrews is the only vocalist I know who is English accent shows through clearly it actually impedes her ability however, her pitch and tone and quality are not affected and is beautiful , but somehow she cannot avoid that Posh English accent. I can compare it to Russell Watson, who comes from the north of England with a very strong Lancashire accent, and he is able to overcome his accent. But vocally, she is perfect and every other way, unlike some professional singers whose voices are not pleasing to the ear Julie’s is, however, her English accent should be lead to rest.
