If she enters the room where I am, I couldn't give her a standing ovation : I'd be drop dead on the floor! This amazing woman is the soundtrack of my life. She's been my favorite star since I was 15 years old (now I'am 54). The best!

Dame Julie Andrews is a true English rose. She is sheer class!

such a beautiful person inside and out..i love Julie..

She is grace personafied. so very typcially english with no airs or graces. Humble and warm, that is why so many love her. That and she is the movie track to all our lives in some way.

She has reached that stage in her career where she is beloved wherever she goes. When you manage 50 years in this business without scandal, while accruing a body of well received work on stage, in cinema in recordings, and on television, and walk away with an Oscar, 4 golden globes, 3 grammys, 6 nominations at the Emmys, and 3 Tony nominations, I guess people notice you when you come on stage.

@ Brian Turner I think she has an Emmy Award for The Julie Andrews Hour (1973). Only the Tony Award is missing.

It is something she got, comes across, not a phony bone in her body, sincere, humble, funny. She got lucky? Well, God granted her that voice, that talent, and we are the winners!

Julie has that presence that generates nothing but love & affection! She is incredibly amazing! Beautiful lady! No other STAR is so much loved as she is! She is us humble ppl love her even more!

If I was in the crowd of Rachel ray when that happened I would probably be the one crying
