    Nice cukes and so many flowers. We have room for only one cuke plant in a + 20 gallon planter. We may put some seeds in ground a month before peas are done along side of pea plants. Then cut at ground level when plant is exhausted. >>>>> Peas variety are a spring/summer --- summer/fall. Green Arrow bush that are climbing trellis. Peas are still small in pods. 95 degree day to 80's to 70. One night got to 56. Zone 6b.

    I have 8 total zucchini plants but i planted them about 10 day intervals so not all of them were ready to get tied up. I found some of the coated twisty wire today and started getting the first twist wire on my 1st planting. I planted them on May 27th and harvested 1 from each plant yesterday. That was 33 days from seeds. I'm using your pruning videos to keep them more manageable too.

    Hello I am new to gardening and planted squashes a month back. The flowers are falling from some of the plants , there’s a few male flowers also but I don’t see any bees in my garden. I pruned accordingly. Can u advise what else can be done. Thanks.

  • @Greentgarden

    So what to do is to increase your fertilizer and keep applying fertilizer every 2 weeks.. Try to stick to a water schedule. It's very important , Water in the morning or in the evening .. ( Water lightly do not over water ) Water every 2 to 3 days depends on the weather.. You will have to plant some flowers like lavender or sunflowers.. or any kind of flowers you have will attract bees... If your plan don't have enough fertilizer It will stress the plant out and the fruit will fall out.. If you water too much, the leaves are turned yellow. Your fruit will turn yellow and fall out before the flower even open up... You got this !! Any questions feel free to ask...There are some amazing gardeners on this channel

    So it either could be a different variety or it could be its lack of nutrients.. Try to increase the fertilizer and add a little bit more water... In 2 weeks after that it's still purple. It's just a variety... Once it's growing it be fine

  • @Greentgarden

    I'm very sorry to hear that.. Unfortunately when it rains we don't get too much Sunlight these plants needs at least 8 to 10 hours sunlight.. Too much rain will be over watering and it would lead to the leaves turning yellow. The fruits are turned yellow and they will fall out.. Unfortunately it's really hard to control or stop mother nature. The only thing we could do is just we wait it out.. So sorry. Hopefully the weather gets better for your garden soon 🌱🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    What about if U don't have a lot of space & want 7 watermelons from 1, plant? How do U prune, it?

  • @Greentgarden
    @Greentgarden2 күн бұрын

    One Watermelon Vine could produce sometimes up to 2 to 4 melons depending on the variety And sometimes some Vine will only produce male flowers. So it's very tricky in this situation.. I would remove about two to three lower leaves and remove about two to 3 ft of side shoots and leave the rest to grow .. and if you could grow it vertically to save space would be good. Just have to make sure you secure your watermelon and tie the plant properly as it grows upward..

  • @JoseLopez-cz3kc
    @JoseLopez-cz3kc2 күн бұрын

    1 more, question. How can I make my Watermelon bigger or is it 2, late? They'r like the size of about a softball & already yellowish & still very, hollow. I would like 2 know even though they still might not be any good because where I had planted them the neighborhood cats scratched them out of place & when I thought they were going 2 be no, more. They suddenly appeared at a totally different, spot. 😅.
