Faze problem is hardpoint, has been for a while .. they dont rotate, they rely soley on talent and solo plays to win hp. If they were a dominant hp team they wouldnt lose.

Its not that the core 3 need to split up its that they need to find the 4th that allows them to get over the hump. If they're ok continuing that record to 4-15 be my guest but you play to win not be a consistent top 3 placing team. How bad does that record have to get until you consider changing the core of the team? 2-14?

Pat is actually right for a change. Faze is a great team, they don't need to get better, there needs to be a mentality change. They aren't playing finals the same way they are playing other games. They are good enough to have a 50% conversion rate at minimum. They should be 6-5 in finals at minimum! But 2-9? That's just not good enough.

In Vanguard alone that team shouldve won every major and champs is crazy...They need to keep Drazah without him (besides CW) they aren't beating Optic..Cell just needs to fix his comms and figure out how rotating works in HP..Also mental block isnt an excuse cause they dominated Major 2..So idk what happened when they make GF.

Absolutely not, what is the constant, that’s Atlanta faze in the grand finals. What other team can claim that, no other organisation. That shows greater consistency above all other else. If faze were to win it all since the start of the CDL era it would be boring. It’s good for the scene that other can still win it, but to say faze need the roster change when let’s be honest the core 3 make the finals the majority of the time is a feat in itself, that deserves respect. To say the need any change is wild. Other teams just need to step the f*ck up whe. It comes to crunch time

People need to understand that a huge part of that 2-9 record came from vanguard which was probably the biggest mental block faze had that year. Where as faze looked decent in mw2 and are really good in mw3.

To me, the 2-9 record and the way tournaments are structured are why faze cannot ever be called a dynasty. They have only had 1 super dominant game (cw). If they had done half as good in vanguard they would of been a dynasty, but it’s laughable at this point. 8-12 team tournaments and this franchise cannot win championships consistently but will always make T2 is insane. They have also not found consistent success with multiple members filling the 4th spot while col/eg were equally as dominant with Clay and Karma

There in nothing "wrong" with Faze the same way that OpTic is a "top 3 team". During the major the other PRO FUCKING TEAMS are finally playing like the "pro team" that they are. I mean come on, you see it almost every major, some bottom feeder team stuns the pack and eliminate a favored team and sometimes make a run (except for Boston, we not talking about Boston). 4, 5 times a year you get to see something crazy happen with a bottom 8 team just playing on demon mode, hell even that shit box OpTic not only stunned everyone with a win but it was the manner in which they won, I'll bet anything not even HECZ was expecting that kind of a performance muchless the players. So leave Faze alone, they have proven year after year that they are the standard to strive for. Fine it sucks stat wise that they are not going all the way but atleast give the other teams some credit dude. People stem their game up for the big show, i suspect nothing different at Champs. Now in the end usually the flaws of a teams can only carry them but so far and the stars can only align for but so long but what's the point of calling them the "1%" if you're just going to hop skip around them when they are actually putting down solid game play. the problem with the argument that it must be mental since they have such an abysmal finals record but smash everyone prior is that you play the other best team on the weekend in grand finals. half the time they are losing to better teams, the other half is the dogshit format with zero winner's advantage.
