David Gilmour does not simply play the guitar, He tells a story with it.

This song rang through my head when I visited my Viking roots in Norway 25 years ago. One of the best LZ songs!

This is the favorite track of Jimmy Page who conceived it like a guitar symphony . Most of the magic came with the fact that every instrument play a different line .Though it appears straightforward at first hearinf it is really quite rich. Mind that the galoping effect is mostly due to the bass (and not to the guitar as in a regular metal or hard-rock piece) . There is a flamenco passage quite similar as the one one can hear on Child in Time (by Deep Purple), but in a different context so no-one seems to notice it.

The Beatles made the guitar gently weep. Gilmour made it scream out in the beautiful agony of the worst heartbreak you have ever had combined with all the wonderful that came before it. I've listened to this solo 100s of times (and was at a concert on the Pulse Tour in 1993) and it still hits me every single time.

You’re right, the British government has always separated nations to create instability as it makes them more money and leaves weak nations that can’t challenge them.

If you think this is good listen to one of the world’s greatest guitarists, Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits playing the extended version of Sultanas of Swing. It’s like nothing you’ve ever heard before and are unlikely to hear again!

When heard within the whole album , 'The Wall' ,the context then exists which makes much it so much easier to understand. If this moved you, the whole album will take you on a journey.

He's a philosopher... people say that but for real he's funny as fuck. I feel that, it must be tedious living at the epicenter of strife. With you two.... I'm in agreement. We are people and I'd love to meet you and enjoy your culture. I've traveled widely but, to be honest, I'm worried about being a dual UK/US in lebanon, jordan etc. even though I have friends there. Just cos my country is stupid and religion is at the fore.

Another music video you guys should react to is Jelly Roll's Save me. There are two different versions of the song one where he sings it by himself, and the other is a duet with Lainey Wilson.

You have to watch the racist gift basket videos. One he pulled on a friend of his, but it came back to bite him as later on fans that he did not even know made their own version of a basket that stereotypically a Hispanic might like or is thought of. It's so wrong yet so hilarious at the same time.

My first duty station was Bahrain. Can attest it does get hot there on some days it was sometimes 108 degrees in the shade. it defiantly sucked being in the BDU's as well as wearing a vest underneath on those days.

Please check out Kashmir, the live version by Page and Plant. The original version is an absolute classic and one of the best riffs of all time by Led Zeppelin, but the live version by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant showcases the the true intent of what they wanted the original Kashmir song to be, which incorporates many Middle Eastern sounds and highlights the culture. It's truly a masterpiece.

You guys, please do yourselves and your subscribers a favor, and react to Chis Cornell in any form- Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog, solo or his many acoustic covers. A few songs you may love to start- Outshined by Soundgarden, Like a Stone by Audioslave and Say Hello to Heaven by Temple of the Dog. Cheers!

This is a superb performance with, literally the greatest guitar solo of all time. But the man who wrote this song and is the subject of the song was not in attendance, Roger Waters. There was a huge dispute within the band and Waters walked away or was pushed away, I don't know which. The last performance of the band with the original members was performed in 2016, which was also a great concert.

One of my biggest regrets of all time was missing this concert at Rice Stadium in Houston in 1994. I was a huge Floyd fan but something came up and I couldn't go. I also went to see Pink Floyd "The Wall" movie with my older sister and her boyfriend in 1982. We showed up to the movie theater and they wouldn't sell us tickets because it was rated R, and none of us were 17.
