I was there. The energy in the hall was unbelievable. One of the greatest concert performances ever.

Watched Neil Armstrong walk on the moon. Later that night I went to my first Led Zeppelin concert and forgot all about the moon. They were a great live band in an era where live music was the best.

Hi Mark, l agree with you regarding rock band; actually, some of their best music is not rock, l think they're a variety band...l know it sounds weird, but l'm 75 & saw them in Denver in '73 & they blew the house down (they played for 3+hours... unreal talent... happy r trails to you,,,

The thing that Zeppelin always did live was they Improvised and they would get in a groove and every guy in the band would change a bit in the songs!

Hi ... I was at that concert in MSG back in 1973when they were filming T.S.R.T.S. sitting in the 9th row orchestra.I was 16 at the time now 68 . It was just like sitting in your room with the album playing . Each song Zeppelin made u feel like they were playing it too u . I personally just couldn't take my eyes off of them . Zeppelin played for almost 4 hrs . This is why they are the Greatest Rock-Roll Band Ever . Enjoy your Led Zeppelin journey, I'm still enjoying mine.

I took Ronda to see Led Zeppelin in 1977 at Memorial Auditorium in Dallas, Texas. Tickets were $18 and it just about killed my savings.

Now you have to check out the studio version because it is quite different and it can be even more powerful and hypnotizing :)

They can listen to the studio version, but it’s nowhere near as excellent as this live. The vocals are far better, & Pages guitar solos are longer & far better. You get to see as well hear & feel the passion, it is my absolute favorite live of theirs. I watch this live at least once everyday, usually more, & always get chills 3 to 4 times during it. I’m all wrapped up in a blanket, & when Plant hits those certain notes, the chills run through my body. It’s funny, I hear more people recommend this live performance then most others, & certainly more then the studio.

​​@@sicotshit7068I have to concur with this song, the live version is by far my favorite, but for most of their music I prefer the studio version, however Dazed and Confused from this same concert is even more powerful, and preferred over the studio. There's something about this concert performed in '73 that seems above and beyond their other live shows, I think they were at their peak and had refined the music to near perfection, after this their performance dropped off, Plant's voice and Jimmy's habit caused their live shows to falter, but for a few magnificent moments

@@Ledzepnut this was also the concert filmed for their movie, I’m not sure the whole concert was, but much of it was. Plant sometime after that had his vocal cords operated on, it’s believed in (1974). Sadly his vocals were still better then others, but not the range or quality they once were. I also don’t think the filming of other concert were the best quality like MSG(73). Page’s addiction didn’t help, but I’d rather hear him play guitar, then the others claimed to be great. I saw both Clapton & Beck in concert, Clapton really sucked, & Beck wasn’t memorable at all. Never really a fan of Van Halen, saw Eddie’s solo Eruption on KZread, to much showing off & didn’t feel the passion. Page always played with passion, like he needed to play to live. The band was OK with some imperfections, it showed they were real, like Bonham’s squeaky peddle or the cough at the end of In My Time Of Dying studio. I love in the MSG live Stairway To Heaven, when Page strums the wrong note, & Plant looks over & smiles. Studio they can play over edit etc. to make it sound more perfect if need be, live there’s no do over.

@@sicotshit7068 Yes it was for the movie, which comprised of 3 different nights over the weekend, one after the other, and they spliced the best from the 3 nights, at least that's what I've learned to be true ... and right, Plant had his surgery done either later that year or sometime in '74, not sure, but it was after Houses of the Holy and before Physical Graffiti. I honestly love his voice on Physical Graffiti, he may not have been able to hit the high notes any longer, but he could still belt some great sound

Guys and girls...I am 74 years old and I can tell you with absolute certainly that our music was much better than todays...my 32-year-old daughter will confirm on a stack of bibles or whatever you want her to proclaim...That this period of music is kick arse...glad you got to enjoy...

​@@davidjobs3884late 70s to late 80s was the worst. Disco to hair bands. Zeppelin was 4 legit virtuosos who in the 80s could can say that. If you don't care for them that's fine but the talent at each position is undeniable.

Led is the view from the top of the mountain. Jimmy is the GOAT and Zepplin it best rock band of all time. "nuff said.

Jeez, I wish that people would just stop saying that Zeppelin are the best rock band, they are the best band PERIOD, listen to their folk music, or blues music, it is better than anything that any other band have done, they are the BEST band.

I'm 71 and got to see them in the early 70's in Mobile Alabama.....they performed 3 hrs and it was unforgetable

You guys definitely have to react to the album version off of the Led Zeppelin 3 album. It’s beautiful.

I can relate to your reaction . It's what mine was actually seeing Led Zeppelin for the 1st time after having devoured all of their studio albums . When "The Song Remains the Same" came out in 1976 me & my fellow Zep head friends made the trek from Brooklyn into Manhattan ( in Brooklyn it's just called "The City") on a Friday night to The Zeigfeld Theater where the movie had it's U.S. premier . The theater had a superior sound system & that made the trip worthwhile . The next year saw them on the last night of their 6 night run at Madison Square Garden . It would wind up being their final live performance in NYC with John Bonham's passing .

It's great to see others enjoy led zeppelin. Amazing band I found when I was 15 yes old.

Watching you both react is priceless. Listen again in 50 years and you will still feel the same way!

we all felt that way when we first heard it - we still feel that way when we hear it now .completely timeless, music for the rest of your lives . All the tracks on all the albums are good , you shouldn't miss out any whatever order you do them in although i think album order track by track is best. you understand the development and evolution that way. but in any case you will love Babe i'm gonna leave you , dazed and confused and how many more times all from the first album. all love

Thanks! glad ya'll did another Zeppelin video...these guys made my high school days...we could not wait each year to get the new Zeppelin album...you know that they did not release singles ... first band to only release albums...please consider reacting to "In My Time of Dying" from the '75 Earls Court show or the live version of "Stairway to Heaven" or "Black Dog" from '73 MSG show which was the same show "Since I've Been Loving You" was recorded...if you react to live Stairway, you will see just how much improvisation this band does when they play live...arguably the greatest live performers in rock history...thanks again for helping me relive my youth!

Tickets to the concert were 5 bucks and they played for 2.5 hours. No auto tune no click tracks. They are true genius musicians.

It's such a cry of pain from a man who loves a woman so much, that he is working two jobs to provide for her - 7am to 11pm. Two eight hour shifts, probably at different factories. Then she tells him she doesn't want him anymore, and he realizes she has a "Backdoor Man."

You need to try "D'yer Mak'er" and "no quarter" by Led Zeppelin the drums and vocals are insane

Ten years gone the studio version is beautiful. You guys gotta check it out. It’s off the physical graffiti album

Bands used to play their hearts out, now they cry their hearts out. So proud of my son's ability to recognize human produced music. He is very keen.

Hey, you know what? It is totally refreshing to see people less than 60 (in a week or so) getting into this video with me. You don't have to hide any shame (this goes for you both) in the sense that it is an emotional journey to watch. I've watched it at the midnight movies back when you could smoke cigarettes or anything during the $3.00 show. When I turned punk, I was yelling at the movie screen, "hippie, hippie, hippie, get a haircut hippie. I was assaulted by 40 movie long hairs. Guess you might infer I was punk or something? Anyhoo, you two are for real, trust me, I know. Cheers.

From their 3rd album, LZIII (Oct 5th,1970) ... They show you how they fuse Blues and Rock, delivering unmatched raw power and emotion. Three nights in July 73 for a packed MSG crowd, much of this was used for their soundtrack/movie *The Song Remains the Same* Always fun watching your reactions! Anything from this show, or try "Immigrant Song", live from their 72-world tour to show how they can speed it up and take you on a crazy & heavy ride to Viking conquests and Norse mythology.

One of the reasons young people like you do reactions is to explore music. But also to find something that is missing in the music of today that is not speaking to you. Led Zeppelin does this to many young people. They spoke to me in the 70s and I have been a huge fan since. My kids had been fans discovering them in the 90s and early 2000s; And for many the band remains with them. I must say you two are just so cute together in your duo reactions. You bounce the words off each other and are a really cute couple and reactors.

Oh hell honey, this song isn’t just eargasmic, it’s almost orgasmic too. This is my absolute favorite live performance, you can see & feel the passion especially of Plant & Page. Plants vocals are perfect for this song, goosebump tested, I get a daily dose at least once a day & usually more. Yes you both need to checkout so much more Led Zeppelin, because every song is amazing. There might be a couple not your favorite, but you certainly won’t hate them either. Keep reacting to them, & we will keep following, so many of us who love Led Zeppelin.

Zeppelin definitely deals in emotions. Talk about hard blues. Check out Dazed and Confused or How Many More Times by them… or anything really.

I could see you feeling that way during the performance. This is what Led Zeppelin was best at, using Blues Rock to convey the emotions of the song.

The first time two people had to search for words for so long . Shows how far they went by listening . And when they find their words they keep talking . Just like me , in 1972 or 3.

This 70 year old laughed most of the reaction while watching euphoric disbelief of the reactors. 🤣

Check the original video for The immigrant song, amazing. Also the videos of their reunion, at 60 year old and they were all amazing , Bonham's son playing the drums.

This is why Jimmy Page is the best guitarist ever. In my opinion, his soloing here is better than anywhere else in their catalog. A true legend. Especially when taking into account all the finger/hand injuries he had during the early 70s.

Thanks for giving props to one of the greatest timeless bands EVER Love the Zep Rock Gods. You out to check out their live acoustic set. You can really hear how great Robert Plants voice is. So awesome!

You nailed it with the term Blues/Rock. Although they were so much more than that they were the godfathers of Blues/Rock IMHO. I grew up as a teenager in the 70's listening to all of these great bands (Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath etc.) and Zeppelin was their own thing. They weren't what we know as Heavy Metal (thank you Black Sabbath) or pure blues but they were heavily influenced by the blues and yet they were so much more than that. Listen to The Rain Song, Over the Hills and Far Away or Ramble On to get a taste of their creativity.

First, let me say, shame on you for waiting this long to play more of the mighty Led Zeppelin! My parents love Led Zeppelin. So I grew up with this music. I fcking love it! (slightly biased I know) x

I was atall three shows at the garden. First time I swallowed Zeppelin was 1969 70.Maybe Fillmore East in New York.They opened up for Iron Butterfly.Seeing her back seem about fifteen times

You should react to Led Zeppelin's " I Cant Quit You Babe" live at The Royal Albert Hall. It's one of their earlier performances

Young lady you need to definitely do a reaction to their 2007 live concert video of them doing Kashmere oh my God it is an experience like no other. Kashmere so awesome.

Might I suggest that y’all react to their albums in their entirety album by album, song by song and go on that journey.

Eargasmic is right, and believe it or not, for me, this is the 3rd best version of this song, the 2nd best is the live version from this multi night run a MSG 1973, the version the picked for their classic concert movie, The Song Remains the Same, search for that amazing video, Page is a tad better than what you just witnessed BUT for the very best audio version of this song, it is no contest, please do yourself a favor and listen to the studio original on Led Zeppelin 3, it is an amazing solo and arguably the best blues they ever did.
