All this extra efforts are causing the prices to rocket to the moon, all because of greed. So sad and upsetting. Capital punishment need to be brought in for anyone who messes with food in order to make huge profit.

You can be body positive and still work towards achieving a healthy weight.

Losing weight is hard. Food is engineered to make you eat more and there’s also a mental component and many use food as a coping mechanism without knowing it.

Lots of interesting comments on who's responsible, the companies or the consumers. Now we should think about the solutions. As a person I can make choices for myself and my family that are healthy, so I do that. I've also joined the campaign against the sugar and fast food industries etc., but that's not certain to produce results quickly enough for me and the people I care about. So I'd say the responsibility rests squarely on me, for what I and my family eat.

Fatness is not an illness. It is the result of perpetuated and voluntary habit that is expensive, needless and very harmful to health.

I cut out basically all sugar and alcohol. Dropped over 60lbs and feel better at 37 than 21-36. Sugar is 100% poison.

I can’t survive not taking 9 life support meds but I will survive on the lowest doses possible. I would not be alive today on the recommended dose for these meds. When I almost lost my life 10 years ago from undiagnosed medical conditions, but Obamacare plan saved my life. I had it 2 weeks when tragedy struck.

The irony of wearing plastic gloves to manipulate plastic pieces, each in their separate Ziploc bag. While the consumer has a part to play to lessen plastic consumption and waste, most of the plastic found on beaches and in the ocean comes from the fishing industry.

There's no excuse to grow as large as some people manage over there. I'm 6ft9", 230lb at the moment - my historic minimum was 196lb back in 2017 and maximum was 271lb back in 2021. It has never been extremely visible, due to my taller than average body frame. I don't excercise that much, except walking wherever I can. I'm depressed for not having my own family at 36 (altough it's my biggest dream to become a family man) and still not eating myself to death. Of course, I'm not lazy to cook for myself. I never order KFC or McDonald's more than 3X a month. Growing passed 700lb and not noticing that something isn't right is pure BS people!!!

We need to stop using fast food. Knock em down. They are not good employers. Ive seen a mom and dad have to each work two jobs to pay the bills. 24 hr availabikity. Then who raises the kids. This is not any different than slavery. Healthxare can be the same, without the proper credential

Those girls that go in a camp, they should not give them cereals coz they are sugar. They should eat more protein to curb their appetite. If they eat more protein it makes them more fuller and refrain from snacking until the next meal. They can have eggs in different ways of preparing it. Avocado for good fat. And so on....
