Cest Bon!!!!! Billy well-done on your video!!!!!
Thank you for showing me some great memories and I used to hang around with my Grammy fly next door to the union church and my mom lives on north haven Road accoss the pond and I moved off because of family issues and the stupid wind mills is the reason why I left my home town
I used to live out there and thank you for sharing
My all time favorite movie! I even named my cat Church lol. Thanks for the tour! 😊
Great job! I’ll be coming back to this vid for years to come.
I lived next to a people's cemetary for over six years, no issues. I read "Pet Sematary" when it came out, that did alter my perception about living next to a cemetary. It is pretty and quiet, a calming place. Nothing spooky!
As I comment now, I’m staying at the vineyard, and I’ve been trying to find which rock it was for days now. I actually didn’t know that this was a whole mystery circling around.
@@littlemyers3274 well it has been for Jaws fans that are also filming location hunters. Enough so that I felt compelled to make this video. If you look at the 4 rocks directly across from the lighthouse entrance, it’s the second one in from the left. Hope this helped!
It's so cool to see that the house pretty much looks the same both inside and outside as it did back in 1989. I've always wanted to see what it looks like inside nowadays. Thank you for this very interesting video!
This is my shocked face. 😮
Oh i always called it the Dreyfuss Pebble.
Didn't know this was a mystery ...but also I'm not that much of a Jaws fan
Well if you’re not a Jaws fan I certainly wouldn’t expect you to know about this mystery. Lol This is geared more towards the “deep cut” fans who also enjoy visiting and documenting filming locations. The topic has come up quite a few times within the community and I felt compelled on my visit to MV to try and get to the bottom of it. Especially since I too was looking forward to replicating the shot, and I know I’m not the only one.
Люблю когда блогеры снимают локацию и вставляют кадры из фильма!) Сразу видно, что серьезный подход был к ролику, жаль что всякая дрянь набирает больше просмотров чем что то более профессиональное!
I was there last September, the owner or someone who works for the owner showed up and wasn't too happy I was there. I apologized and he calmed down and ended up pretty cool. It's a farm that sells blueberries. The whole thing is big blueberry field. Btw, I made it all the way up in a Subaru Crosstrek..
Nice!! Glad you made it up there! That’s interesting, I’ve been there many times and never seen a single person. I know it is drivable but I prefer to walk up so as to not draw too much attention to myself. Lol There aren’t any no trespassing signs though so 🤷♂️
@@wjd329 That's exactly what I told him. I apologized and said if it had been marked No Trespassing I never would have went up. Like I said he calmed down and we talked for about 20 minutes. There was a big ass porcupine sleeping in the tree right next to the big rock while we were there. That day I also went to the Creed house and the little spot of woods where the Pet Sematary set was built. One of the coolest days of my life..
Im here now. There’s some dude in a tractor lol he didn’t say anything
@@carlwentline1263 There was a Haitian guy picking blueberries when I got there, he was cool. Then the "boss" or owner whomever he was showed up in a work truck and asked "what the hell was I doing there it's private property and I was trespassing..." But I apologized and he calmed down. But I went mid day, peak blueberry season. I didn't know it was a fuctioning blueberry farm.
Great videos, Still getting horrible chills from anything concidering this movie. Saw it when I was 11yo. Next year coming To Maine all the way from Finland with My bro to See all the spots. Well 5 of them. You would be terrific guide For all of them.
Super cool ! Can’t wait to see the Jaws video 🎥 I’m the guy you saw today in Edgartown.
Thank you! It was nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping and saying hello!

Thank you, I dont know who you are. Love you.

Another great Video, Thanks! I'll be there and the tree root path mid-June. I'm stoked for the visit to do some oil sketches (small quick paintings)!
The description you wrote for this video is wonderful. Thank you for sharing part of your story and best to you for so many more fantastic life adventures and memories to come! Onward!
I always wondered about the face scene as well, it looks like both Erwin and Jud.. maybe a combo? It would have made more sense if it was Pascow. Anyway, thanks for another great video!
Hey! I’ve been there.
I was watching your creep show 2 video didn’t realize that was dexter like your videos took my daughter to the pet semetary places few years back I watched them film these scenes my uncle worked at the boat yard
What kind of accent was the foreman/boss speaking? I thought he was so cool, great movie.
This stuff is amazing You need to make this channel huge!
How doesn’t this have a billion views already
Oh my gosh this is mint!!! I want to do this entire trip asap Is this possible to do all these locations in one day?
Awesome video!!!
Absolutely amazing!! Definitely added to my bucket list!!!
amazing work friend
Just one minor detail though ..Louis’s Father-In-Law’s name is Irwin, not Milton. :)
Oh my god did I seriously say Milton???! I have ZERO idea where that came from!🤣🤣 of course it’s Irwin! 🤦♂️
@@wjd329 HAHA! Yes, three times🤣 I have zero doubts that you know his correct name, but good to know fans are paying attention!!
I feel like you are the first person to ever cover this location, so awesome! Thank You!!
That’s what I was told. 😊
Very cool. Seems bizarre that a production would bother to shoot at a location like that with all of the regulations, logistics, etc..
Agreed, but they really wanted this spot because of the weird above ground roots, You see them in the Catskills, it happens when the tree can't send down roots because of the thin soil "The soils thin, but you'll manage"! Maybe it's easier to deal with the Feds rather than the Stats parks. This spot also is really is pretty accessible because of the carriage road.
@@thomasnelson3280 I wonder who the person was that knew that spot. Doubt it was just some location scout that started looking for places from scratch. Or maybe they hired a Maine based location scout? But, yeah, I don't recall a lot of movies shot in NPs. BLM land but not too many NPs. When I saw your vid thumb/title, I thought, "what???". I hiked that trail above that pond years back. Love that NP.
Another great video! Mt Hope is one of the most beautiful cemeteries, love walking there!!
Thank you!
Your commentary is great man...fascinating landscape & excellent discussion!
Thanks man! Really appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome, congrats, you found it! I too thought it was on the other side of South Bubble, but your evidence is unmistakable. I know Jordan Pond well, I've been painting Mt Desert for 5 years, I love this place (as well as Bangor), even though it's a long drive for me from the Hudson Valley. Also I agree the other site is way hard to get to for a crew, even if it was a second unit sho,t which I don't think it was because it involved the stars. This site is relatively easy to get to, especially for Acadia. I can't wait till my next trip up, I'll surely check this out. I've been meaning to paint the view from the carriage road where it traverses the boulder slide (just before those steps), and now I have another reason to spend a day or two there. When I have my big Mount Desert exhibit I'll let you know. Thanks!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, def let me know about the exhibit.
Thanks so much for all the effort you put in to these videos! As I was watching this, I couldn’t help but think how in the hell did the location scouts find such a random place miles away from the Pet Sematary location in Ellsworth?! I’m sure they had certain visions in mind, and wanted to find unique looking paths, which Acadia definitely has, but it really amazes me how many locations were used for both the Pet Sematary and the Micmac Burial ground. Gotta love movie magic!!
Amazing, Can you tell us the exactlu ubication location ?
I don’t follow.
Cool, can you comment on the location, please?
I don’t follow.
@@wjd329 like post the address
There isn’t an exact address….thats why I created the video the way I did. So people could follow the directions. However, I did include an address to where the opening by the guardrails are, as well as exact GPS coordinates in the video. 😊
Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic!
This was absolutely amazing to see!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. It brings back the memory of seeing this in the theater when I was 10!! I was terrified for months!!! It was also my introduction to Stephen King and his wonderful works!! I haven't looked back since! ❤❤❤
You are most welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! It was my introduction to him (and horror in general) as well. You’re the ones I made this for. ❤
Great video
This is awesome that the owners let you take a tour of their house
The Spirit of Voorhees ( a short Friday the 13th fan film ) is another great firday the 13th fan film way to go Jason 👍👍👍
You know that Jason is after you for this🔪😂
The woman in the background is a perfect addition to your video 😂
This is the route we drive when going to my brother in law’s house in Cambridge, never realized this was an SK filming location!!
Wonder if the Holiday Inn sign is a future site where that building will be torn down, not sure just a guess
