In June of 2022 I visited The Grand Central Cafe in Kingsland, TX. This house was the home of the Sawyers in 1974’s horror masterpiece The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The structure was moved from its original home in Round Rock to Kingsland where it was turned into a cafe. The owners love visitors and fans of the film and embrace the houses bloody history. Stop in for a bite to eat if you dare….but watch out for cannibals and chainsaw-wielding maniacs.
